CHRISTOLOGY: Who Do YOU Say That I Am

Scripture Focus: Assorted Scriptures

Objective To understand the significance of the Virgin Birth and the

Resurrection and its impact on our daily lives.

1. Who is Christ to you? How has your walk/experience with Christ made a
difference in your life? (Luke 9:18-20)
2. Why is the Virgin Birth so important?

Discussion a. It is the Word of God

b. It is a reminder that the new birth is superior to
anything we could ever accomplish on our own (Nicodemus…
John 3:1-13)
c. To remind us that God’s gift of salvation is a gift of
Grace (Luke 1: 28-37)
d. It is the evidence of the uniqueness of Jesus (no one
else can make this claim)
3. Do you believe that God is able to take the impossible and make it
possible? Got an example?
Why was the Resurrection of Christ so important?
If Jesus had only lived and died, would that have been enough for
our redemption?

What do the following verses confirm? (I Pet 3:18; Rev 1:5; II Tim
1:10; Rev 1:18)
4. What confirmation that Jesus rose again do we have? Look at I Cor.
15:3-6; Acts 1:3
5. What would be the most powerful truth that you could share if someone
asked you, “How do you know that the Resurrection power of Christ is
for real?” SAY: “JUST LOOK AT MY LIFE”!!!

Are you living a life that “invites” others to inquire about your
Christian walk? If questioned about the validity of who Christ is

Application
and what He said He was, would you be able to give a coherent
answer? How can you allow this study to challenge you to deepen
your spiritual roots this week?
