Dear Mary,

How are you? It has been quite a while since I last heard from you. I
hope you are in the pink of health. The reason I am writing this letter is to tell
you about my trip to Pulau Indah. My close friends and I went for a trip to
Pulau Indah last weekend. It was such an enjoyable and interesting trip.

We have heard so much about the island but this was our first trip to
the island. The trip took us two days and one night. We took a tour bus there.
On our way, the scenery on both sides was beautiful. The sea was as clear as
crystal and glimmered like diamonds too. The jungle, on the other hand, was
eye-catching too. We saw a few monkeys swinging from tree to tree, too.

Our ride took a few hours. Finally, we arrived at our destination. Among
all the events, we went jungle trekking first. The air in the jungle was so
refreshing. It was a challenging activity and I got the chance to take some
nice photos of the animals and plants there. I have enclosed a few of the
photos with my letter. I hope you will like them.

By the time we reached the other end of the forest, we were

exhausted. Therefore, we had a short rest. After that, we went on a search
for a popular lake in Pulau Indah. The water in the lake was too tempting for
us to resist. We had a pleasant dip in the cool water. We felt refreshed after
the swim.

In the evening, we decided to pitch up the tents. That was a heavy

work. Fortunately, we found a good site to camp. It was near to a beautiful
cascading waterfall. We made a campfire with the woods that we had
collected in the forest. After that, we cooked dinner. We had brought many
tins of canned food, so we were able to come up with a delicious meal. We
savoured every bite while enjoying the sunset.

The following day, we decided to try out an even more breathtaking

event – canoeing. It was our first time to participate in such thrilling activity.
We were divided into pairs. At the beginning, we had trouble with the
pedaling. However, after a while, we started to get the hang of it.
Undoubtedly, it was an exhilarating, new experience. I suggest you to try it
out if you have the chance.

In the evening, we boarded the tour bus again. We all left Pulau Indah
with a heavy heart. The trip to Pulau Indah was an enlightening and
unforgettable one. I would not mind going there again. I highly recommend
you to go to Pulau Indah, at least once.
That is all for now as I need to prepare to go for my tuition. I hope to
get a quick reply from you. I’m looking forward to a positive reply from you.
So, till the next letter, send my regards to your parents. Bye.

Your friend,
Jane
