If you read MOSS Your Montly FLOSSMagazine regularly, you already know quitea lot about Free Libre Open SourceSoftware (FLOSS) in short SoftwareFreedom. The month of September is asignificantly important month for us as themonth marks the Worldwide SoftwareFreedom day on the 18th of September.A day of fun and effective communitybuilding experience for MOSS. SoftwareFreedom Day is an outreach day where weinspire newcomers with the values andquality of Free Software and communicatethe broader issues of Software Freedomthrough our activities.Software Freedom Day is our chance tostand united with the entire Free Softwareworld with what we care about. Freedom.MOSS took the initiative to mark thesoftware freedom day by an open‐dayevent, sponsored by Male' Business School,in their seminar room on the 18th ofSeptember. Specifically targetted to youthand school children.A golden opportunity to tap into the causeof what we stand for, our unity and sharingculture. It was noteworthy to mention thatwe got the chance to enlighten many andanswer a lot of question raised by thenewcommers. The result of the day is yet to come in thefuture to reinvigorate a series of alignmentsfrom the past. I personally like to thank allwho took part in the event. Last we do feeland understand the burdens, fears, worries, the rising tide of anxiety and this tug‐of‐warfor software freedom that we are in. On theother hand we see the blessing inspired by awide assortment of revelations about whowe are as a united force on a cause worthfighting in this lifetime. This is only the begining and reflecting onthese turning point days we will continue tothink bold and find ways to fulfull ourcause.
