General.Coveredmultifamilydwellingswithelevatorsshallbedesignedandconstructedtoprovideatleastoneaccessibleentranceonanaccessibleroute,regardless
of
terrain
or
unusualcharacteristics
of
thesite.Coveredmultifamilydwellingswithoutelevatorsshallbedesignedandconstructedtoprovide
at
leastoneaccessibleentranceonanaccessiblerouteunlessterrain
or
unusualcharacteristics
of
thesitepreventanaccessibleroutebasedontheconditionslistedbelow:
1.
AccessibleEntrance.Regardless
of
siteconsiderationsdescribedinSection1150A,anaccessibleentrance
on
anaccessiblerouteisrequired
when
thereisanelevatorconnectingtheparkingarea
with
thedwellingunits
on
agroundfloor.(Inthiscase,thosedwellingunitsontheground
floor
servedbyanelevator,
and
at
leastone
of
eachtype
of
public-andcommon-useareas,wouldbesubjecttotheserequirements.)2.ElevatorBuilding.Whenabuildingelevator
