 Déjà Vu #2
A respiratory affliction square dancing with addictionyou know it never meant that much to me underneath last call but sometimes I wonder if everyone is really happy or has everyone overslept that universal shot caller in fallyeah, the weather does wear us like an old familiar sweater warm, collective, rational with dim lighting on all of our walls Now, where have we heard this before? An explanatory disposition, expression always at the lipsand you just on the other side of the glass, wide-eye gazing back at me staring back at you, you were in my sheets at nightin my dreams, how to tell you that I love you in a new way both hearts seeking a mystery to beat all mysteries, in flightalive, soaring, diving, and weaving away from the other avenues Now, where have we felt this before?Eccentric but without concern and until recently, unknownhold my head above the water, watching my droplets hit the water I can't but wonder with every deep breath, is it this real for youcan you witness me without ego? Can you walk with me aside of sinstop all the lies, let go of all the capital punishment, it's just usI can be a star, you can be a star, and this doesn't even have to rhyme Now, where have we experienced this before?
