Marketing in general and, consequently, air cargo marketing involves theprovision of the right product or service, at the right price, available in the rightplace at the right time and doing so at a profit.Hellmann Worldwide Logistics (INDIA) pvt. ltd. concerned with theidentification, anticipation and satisfaction of customer needs and wants, whilesimultaneously making a profit. In the air cargo industry, marketing·s role is allabout identifying what the customer wants and, where possible, providing thisservice at a price which is economical for both.The marketing activities should identify and understand market needs, ifpossible should also attempt to anticipate future needs and cope with any threatcontained in the market place and to avail of any opportunities which may exist.All the marketing activities should form a coordinated effort, incorporating thesales department and the product/pricing sectors, combined with acomprehensive, up to date information system providing back up. It must remainin constant touch with the volatile environment, responding to the changeswhich affect the marketing activities.
