MSP Exam Format
MSP 2007 Foundation
50 multiple choice questions to be answered in 40 minutes.Closed-book examination. Candidates need to achieve 30+ topass the paper.
MSP 2007 Practitioner (earlier as MSP Intermediate)
The Practitioner examination has been changed to an objectivemarking style, closed book paper. The paper will consist of 9questions with a total of 180 marks available to be completedwithin two hours. Candidates need to achieve a mark of 90+ topass the paper.

Background to Qualifications/ Eligibility
Candidates must always take theFoundation Examination before thePractitioner and Advanced PractitionerExaminations, either on the same day orseparately. If a candidate has previouslypassed the Foundation Examination, theyare qualified to sit for the Practitionerand Advanced Practitioner Examinationswithout the need to re-sit for theFoundation Examination. If a candidatechooses to sit for the FoundationExamination only, and passes, they willreceive a "Foundation Examination"certificate stating that they have passed.However, if a candidate sits for theFoundation Examination, Practitioner andAdvanced Practitioner Examination onthe same day, and passes all three, theywill receive a "Practitioner Examination"certificate, but not any other certificate.
