¦ What It All Comes Down ToAs the title suggests, THE BOTTOM LINE is a "get down to it, no fluff, no hype,nonapologetic"journal that is designed for one thing and one thing only -- to show you, thebodybuilder, the most direct and uncomplicated methods toward building more muscleand shredding off fat...fast! That is, as much as your body is capable.This book is designed as both a companion and a continuation of "THEBODYBUILDING TRUTH -- Secrets You're Not Supposed To Know." If you haven'tread that original work, some of the information herein may seem confusing or
 
incomplete. For that reason, I'd strongly urge you to read both books in an effort to befully versed.Since the time of its release, The Bodybuilding Truth has changed the way thousands ofbodybuilders train, eat, supplement, and view the industry of bodybuilding itself. Theconcept behind "The Bottom Line" is to update information and address some strategiesthat either weren't included or have yet to be discovered. If you thought TheBodybuilding Truth was scathingly honest in regard to misinformation about training, thefallacies concerning nutrition and the slimy side of the supplement industry, then hold on!If you're looking for more, no nonsense methods of training, you've come to therightplace. And if you want more honest information about bodybuilding, nutrition,supplementation, and the most effective use of anabolics, get ready for a jolt.I should make you aware right from the start that this is not a reference filledjournal thatreads like a text book, so if that's what you want, stop reading now. You won'tfind ithere. My intention was to write an entertaining book that that is conversationalin styleand informative in content. Whereas some bodybuilding journalists seem to go outoftheir way to sound overly technical, I've avoided it whenever possible. I've even avoidedciting references, and here's why:References are subjective.Whenever a study is conducted, such as to prove or disprove the effects of one thing oranother, there's almost always a commercial interest involved and whenever that's thecase, test results can be manipulated. Using such references to validate a pointismeaningless, so instead, I'd prefer to use logic as my reference. I'll also tryand presentthat logic in the most direct manner possible without confusion or subterfuge. Ipromiseto get to that often evasive bottom line.References are conflicting.BOTTOMLINE BODYBUILDINGNelson Montana for Elite Fitness 6For every study that proves one thing, there's a study to prove the exact opposite. Insteadof wasting everyone's time listing those that agree with my line of thinking, I'll justpresent the information which I believe to be valid through my observations andexperience.References are skewed.Besides the fact that there are many variables in any test and results vary, many studiesaren't conducted under the proper conditions. Double blind studies among geneticallysimilar subjects with comparable athletic training diets and sleep patterns arealmost nonexistent.Add in other factors such as stress and biorhythms, and the conclusions drawnare often of the "your guess is as good as mine" variety.
