It would be very hard to give this poem justice with only a few words but beautiful, profound, awesome (to steal from some of the others) do touch on it. You have a talent.
Beautiful and profound. It applies to many levels, from the simple human to the most high spiritual level. CONGRAGULATIONS. DIAGORAS the Greek.
I think your Poem to be very profound. It can have many different meanings to a lot of various souls who read it and apply it to themselves. That's the fabulous thing with poetry and literature. It has a meaning and real definition for the creator, however, for the rest of us...it is truly subjective. Actually, it takes one several readings to grasp the deeper elements of this piece. Re-read it a few times, then read each line separate and really think about it. For me, I take away something that applies to "me". Breaking down the barriers where I live that have people trapped and lost in a place where Skin color and gender bias seem to prevail at times...so, that is the "barrier" - the external illusion is the skin color. The calm comes when one fully understands that that IS just an illusion - a skin. We are all the same on the inside...and there are no words that need be spoken when you realize this and can work towards one goal...one inner peace. Well, that's what your beautiful poem speaks to me today. Perhaps tomorrow...it will speak something else. Good Work!
but for the time being, i am allowing thing to be, i am still arming myself with the understanding and knowledge that can help to change what needs to be change
we have fill ourselves to the limit and it will be very hard for us to empty ourselves so that new knowledge can be gained, i too hope to learn to empty myself and be shapeless
