This months edition was purposely delayed to allow enough time for us to
review the movie “2012” the blockbuster movie by Roland Emmerich which
has already precipitated the fuel in the fire regarding the debate about 2012.

Everyone will remember the events leading up to the year 2000 and the Y2K
concerns which had many doomsday prophets announcing that we were all
going to witness major chaos and destruction. At this point in time the
quatrains of Nostradamus had received more exposure than at any time in
history as his writings became the very basis for many of the 2000 cult
movements.

Less than a decade later, the new “August 11, 1999” is December 21, 2012, the
end of the Mayan Calendar, and linked with another astronomical event: the
conjunction of the Winter Solstice Sun with the crossing point of the Galactic
Equator. The new date for a new hope for a better future – and/or the demise
of this earth – is therefore reprogrammed from 1999 to 2012. Nostradamus
has been exchanged for the often self-proclaimed heirs of Mayan priests, who
claim that the end of the Mayan calendar will mark the apocalypse.

The 2012 phenomenon is a range of beliefs and proposals positing that

cataclysmic or transformative events will occur in the year 2012. The forecast
is based primarily on what is claimed to be the end-date of the Mayan Long
Count calendar, which is presented as lasting 5,125 years and as terminating
on December 21 or 23, 2012. Arguments supporting this dating are drawn
from a mixture of alternative interpretations of both secular and religious
prophecies, numerological constructions, and alleged prophecies from
extraterrestrial beings.

ROLAND EMMERICH: THE MAN BEHIND 2012
The Movie “2012” was released in November 2009
and in doing so has intensified the debate
regarding the year 2012 as being the year when a
major ecological change will take place which will
have significant ramifications for making. The
movie producer is German born Roland Emmerich.
Roland Emmerich (born
November 10, 1955) is a
German film director,
screenwriter, and producer
who works mostly in the
disaster and action genres.
His films have grossed more
than $2.7 billion worldwide,
more than those of any
European-born director. His films have grossed
just over $1 billion in the United States, making
him the country's 14th-highest grossing director of
all time. He began his work in the film industry by
directing the film The Noah's Ark Principle as part
of his university thesis and also co-founded
Centropolis Film Productions in 1985 with his
sister. He is a collector of art and an active
campaigner for the lesbian and gay community,
with Emmerich himself being openly gay. He is
also a campaigner for an awareness of global
warming and equal rights.
Emmerich has a significant history of producing
movies which are related to apolcayptics
In 1994 he managed the science-fiction film
Stargate. At the time, it set a record for the
highest-grossing opening weekend for a film
released in the month of October. It became more
commercially successful than most film industry
insiders had anticipated, and spawned a highly
popular media franchise.
Emmerich then directed Independence Day, an
alien invasion feature, released in 1996, that
became the first film to gross $100 million in less
than a week and went on to become one of the
most financially successful films of all time, at one
point having been the second-highest grossing film
in terms of worldwide box office.
After teaming up with new screenwriting partner
Harald Kloser, Emmerich returned once again to
directing a visual effects-laden adventure with
2004's blockbuster The Day After Tomorrow,
another disaster film about a rapidly oncoming Ice
Age brought upon by the effects of global warming.
THE 2012 DEBATE
Everyone is now talking about December 21, 2012.
There are a lot of hysteria and seemingly cult
factions that have leaped into focus. Some of them
have created their own special 2012 predictions. It
really isn't all that surprising that a growing number
of people have tried to research what is fact and
what is just fiction about this mind boggling topic.
A person could spend hundreds, even thousands
of hours just trying to make some sense out of all
the discussions and forums devoted to this entire
2012 thing. The more you hunt, the more confused
you could become. The longer you try to separate
the fact from fiction, the more information you
uncover. In a nutshell, 2012 predictions and
prophecies could literally drive you to distraction.
The 2012 debate is based on the prophecies and
predictions found in the following cultures,
individuals and sources.

THE NEW AGE MOVEMENT
A New Age interpretation of this transition posits
that, during this time, the planet and its inhabitants
may undergo a positive physical or spiritual
transformation, and that 2012 may mark the
beginning of a new shift in human consciousness.
Conversely, some believe that the 2012 date
marks the beginning of an apocalypse. Both ideas
have been disseminated in numerous books and
TV documentaries, and have spread around the
world through websites and discussion groups.
Many New Agers believe that the ending of this
cycle will correspond to a global "consciousness
shift". Established themes found in 2012 literature
include "suspicion towards mainstream Western
culture", the idea of spiritual evolution, and the
possibility of leading the world into the New Age,
by individual example or by a group's joined
consciousness. The general intent of this literature
is not to warn of impending doom but "to foster
counter-cultural sympathies and eventually socio-
political and 'spiritual' activism".
THE SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY
The claims put forward by those predicting the end
of the world in 2012 (alignment with a black hole,
collision with a rogue planet, polar shifts) have
been rejected as pseudoscience by the
mainstream scientific community. Many of these
claims violate the laws of physics, or are
contradicted by simple observations.
Yet Scientists have also announced that sunspot
activity will reach a massive peak in 2012, resulting
in severe solar storms and atmospheric changes.
With this predicted sunspot expected to be up to
50 per cent stronger than previous ones, NASA
has even began making preparations for the
problems that await. But will these events make as
big an impact on live as we know it as is
suggested?
Over the past few years the magnetic North pole
has been drifting across Canada and is headed for
Siberia. Also, the Earth’s magnetic field has
weakened noticeably when compared to its
strength when scientists began measuring it in
1845. Based on these findings, some scientists are
now convinced that a reversal of the Earth’s
magnetic poles is underway.
They’re predicting that in 2012 the magnetic field
will be at its weakest and a polar reversal could
suddenly and dramatically take place with the
North pole having the polarity of the South pole
and vice versa.
In 2012 the Sun will also experience a polar
reversal producing radiation emissions at their
strongest levels in 50 years. Although the Sun’s
magnetic poles reverse every eleven years, in the
memory of man the Earth has never experienced
such an event. While no one can predict the
outcome of this double shift, it could produce
massive earthquakes and volcanic eruptions of a
magnitude that could actually cause a measurable
continental shift.
A study by the National Academy of Sciences
released in early 2009 indicated that a “solar
storm” like this could also cause catastrophic
damage to the power grid and other
communications as well, knocking out satellites,
phones, and computers. They confirmed that the
2012 event would be more severe than others
we’ve experienced in the past.

If this reversal caused the magnetic field around
Earth to collapse, the effect would be even more
severe. According to some projections, the
electromagnetic energy released from the sun
during a polar reversal could cause Earth’s upper
atmosphere to “erupt in flames” if our magnetic
field isn’t there to deflect it.
PLANET X RETURN’S TO THE SOLAR SYSTEM
The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a
huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of
the sea turned into blood, a third of the living creatures in the
sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star,
blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers
and on the springs of water- the name of the star is
Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many
people died from the waters that had become bitter (Rev.
8:8-11).
Many have tried to link the return of Planet X to the
prophecies of Revelation which describe what
seems to be a major object falling from the sky and
causing significant ecological damage from its
impact with the earth.
Planet X has been the subject of much debate
among scientists, both as to its actual existence
and its name. Some refer to Planet X as Nibiru, a
large planet listed in 5000 year old Sumerian
tablets, but missing from the Solar system today.
Others say it’s Rahab, the ancient seat of Satan,
hinted at in Job 9:13 & 26:12, Psalm 87:4 & 89:10,
and in Isaiah 30:7 & 51:9.
Those who advocate for its existence say it’s been
privately tracked by NASA since the 1980’s and
both the New York Times and the Washington
Post have speculated about its appearance in the
sky. Documented naked eye sightings from the
Southern Hemisphere are also claimed.
The name Rahab appears in the Old Testament a
total of 11 times. Five times it refers to the Rahab
of Jericho who hid the 2 spies, was the mother of
Boaz, and appears in the Lord’s genealogy. The
other six times, listed above, it does not. Some
believe these other references are to a planet that
was once part of our Solar system and that Satan
and his followers inhabited along with Earth and
Mars. These people disagree as to whether it was
originally our 5th or 6th planet, but supposedly
these three planets were judged at the time of
Satan’s rebellion in the gap between Genesis 1 :1
& 1:2 .
They also disagree as to whether it was completely
destroyed leaving only the asteroid belt as a
memorial, or was sent spinning out into the far
reaches of the universe, or some combination of
the two. Proponents of the partial destruction
theory say that the remnant of the planet Rahab
can now be seen again, and that God will use it to
effect some of the judgments of Revelation.
The idea of Satan’s Kingdom planet re-entering
our solar system is a theory developed out of a
study of combining the apocryphal Book of Enoch
with the application of ELS (Equi-distant Letter
Sequencing), commonly known as the Bible
Codes. But if we’re as close to the end as I think
we are, it won’t be long until we know whether the
Rahab theories are truth or fiction. For what it’s
worth, some believe Nostradamus predicted a
comet/planet coming in 2012.
ZECHARIA STICHIN
No researcher has done more to advance the idea
of 2012 and Planet X than Zecharia Stichin
According to the studies of Zecharia Sitchin, there
is a 12th planet in our solar system (known to
scientists as the possible 'Planet X'). This planet is
called Nibiru, and is situated somewhere beyond
Pluto. This planet, unlike the other planets in our
solar system, has an elliptical orbit and moves
clockwise rather than counterclockwise. It was a
collision of Nibiru with another planet in our solar
system (Maldek) which created Earth. Nibiru's orbit
passes thorough our solar system only once every
3,600 years, which is equal to one Nibiru year.

This controversial theory is based on Sitchin's
interpretation of ancient Sumerian texts, with its
origin in the Bible, in the book of Genesis.
paperback series, 'The Earth Chronicles',
documenting the Nibirian interaction on Earth in
ancient times.
Stichin believes that Planet X is inhabited by the
Anunnaki (the Nephilim/giants in the Bible), "Those
Who From Heaven To Earth Came". They landed
on Earth, colonized it, mining the Earth for gold
and other minerals, establishing a spaceport in
what today is the Iraq-Iran area, and lived in a kind
of idealistic society as a small colony.
They returned when Earth was more populated
and genetically interfered in our indigenous DNA to
create a slave-race to work their mines, farms, and
other enterprises in Sumeria, which was the so-
called Cradle of Civilization in out-dated pre-1980s
school history texts. They created Man, Homo
Sapiens, through genetic manipulation with
themselves and ape man Homo Erectus.
In his book, The 12th Planet (1976), Stichins
describes what is known as the Anunnaki which he
believes are race of angelic extraterrestruaks who
came to earth and were involved in genetic
engineering to fashion The Adam, Zecharia wrote:
"Man is the product of evolution; but modern Man, Homo
sapiens, is the product of the 'gods'. For, some time circa
300,000 years ago, the Nefilim took ape-man (Homo erectus)
and implanted on him their own image and likeness."
In The Earth Chronicles Time Chart (The Wars of
Gods and Men, 1985) Zecharia wrote: 300,000
years ago:
The Anunnaki toiling in the gold mines mutiny. Enki and
Ninhursag create Primitive Workers through genetic
manipulation... Homo sapiens begins to multiply."
SPLIT OPINION: BIBLE PROPHECY TEACHERS
The reaction to seeing the Bible
being used by secular
researchers to justify the 2012
belief has been split amongst the
bible prophecy community.
Mark Hitchcock, one of the most
respected end time prophecy
authors published a books called
2012 The Bible and the End of
the World.
Another notable author, Tom Horn published a
books called “ Stargates” in which he believes
something alarming has been happening since the
dawn of time, which has been
recorded in the history, holy
books, and mythos of every
great civilization. Ancient
rabbinical authorities including
Septuagint translators and
early church fathers
understood it. Sumerians,
Assyrians, Egyptians, Greeks,
the Hindus, the American
Indians, and virtually all other
civilizations wrote about it.
Beings of super intelligence sometimes referred to
as "gods" descend through openings of sky, earth,
and sea to interact with this planet's creatures.
According to Tom Horn, prophecy says they will
return... and at a time much sooner than most
people realize.

However other bible prophecy teachers are much
more negative regarding the 2012 debate believing
that this is evidence of an attempt to subvert the
Bible to secular prophecies which will cause panic
and restlessness within mankind. Reference is
given to where Jesus in Matthew 24:”3 tells his
disciples
“Then if anyone says to you, “Look , here is the Christ!” or
“There!” do not believe it.”
And some expand upon this to state that the
warning would also apply not only to the coming of
Christ but also the end of the world since the end
of this world era as we know it is intrinsically linked
to the Second Coming of Christ.
Terry James another bible researcher states,
There is strong biblical prescription against date
settings, whether involving days, months, years, or
even seasons. When talking about the time of His
return to earth while He was still here in the flesh,
Jesus said,
“But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the
angels of heaven, but my Father only” (Matt. 24:36).
Jesus gave this warning to all people, urging them
to be spiritually prepared for His sudden return, the
time of which no human being or even angel in
Heaven knows. “Watch therefore, for ye know
neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of
man cometh” (Matt. 25:13).
Other bible prophecy scholars have preferred to
take a position of “sitting on the fence” by claiming
that the 2012 scenarios could possibly comply with
some of the prophecies in the book of Revelation
and be used as means for God’s judgement
against a sinful earth yet at the same time
expressing caution that 2012 could be the year of
the Second Coming of Christ.
Cleary it would seem some bible prophecy
scholars are still bearing the scars from 1999 with
their books and predictions now discarded as
pieces of literature with little value attached to
them.
SUMMARY
A recent national poll found that 59 percent of all
Americans are firmly convinced that the final days
for humanity will occur during their lifetimes. Such
a mindset is fertile ground for the 2012 doomsday
phenomenon that is now constantly bombarding us
from everywhere - in group symposiums, lectures,
workshops, magazine and newspaper articles,
best-selling books, television specials,
documentaries, movies, in the media news and
across the Internet.
However, one of the more critical issues that has
yet to be addressed is what are the governments
of world doing about 2012. Project Camelot
interviewed a Norwegian diplomat, Leo Zagami
who actually admitted that the Norwegian
government were building underground bunkers
due to be completed by the end of 2010 - 2011.
The Norwegian government had also begun the
storage of food and seeds in the Svalbard area
and in the arctic north in anticipation of Planet X.
Again when we look at the Bible clearly there will
be some significant ariel threat in the future
“Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great

However we need to remember the words of Jesus
who says in Luke 21:25-27,
“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the
stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the
sae and the waves roaring; “men’s” hearts failing them from
fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on
the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken. “Then
when they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with
power and great glory.”

In October 2009 we asked the question Is there any significance
to the year 2012 and many of you took the poll at www.thevisionreport.com

The results from this survey unveiled some very interesting observations

1. The first interesting observation is that nearly half of all people who took the
vote admitted that they were not sure about 2012 being of any significance
whilst not ruling out that the year 2012 could be significant.
2. The second interesting observations is that there were absolutely no votes for
Nostradamus as being of any significance to the 2012 debate. This finding con-
flicts with the fact that in terms of Google internet searches for information re-
lated to 2012 and the end of the world, Nostradamus features in the top 6 of all
searches of information related to 2012 and the end of the world. However it
would seem that the vast majority if not all of our members place no validity to
Nostradamus.

ALBERT PIKE: AGENT OF THE ILLUMINATI
Albert Pike was born on December 29, 1809, in
Boston, and was the oldest of six children born to
Benjamin and Sarah Andrews Pike.
He studied at Harvard, and later served as a
Brigadier-General in the Confederate Army. After the
Civil War, Pike was found guilty of treason and jailed,
only to be pardoned by fellow Freemason President
Andrew Johnson on April 22, 1866, who met with him
the next day at the White House.
On June 20, 1867, Scottish Rite officials conferred
upon Johnson the 4th to 32nd Freemasonry degrees,
and he later went to Boston to dedicate a Masonic
Temple. Pike was said to be a genius, able to read
and write in 16 different languages.
An Italian revolutionary leader, Giusseppe Mazzini
(1805-1872), a 33rd degree Mason, was selected by
the Illuminati to head their worldwide operations in
1834. (Mazzini also founded the Mafia in 1860).
Because of Mazzini's revolutionary activities in
Europe, the Bavarian government cracked down on
the Illuminati and other secret societies for allegedly
plotting a massive overthrow of Europe's monarchies.
As the secrets of the Illuminati were revealed, they
were persecuted and eventually disbanded, only to
re-establish themselves in the depths of other
organizations, of which Freemasonry was the main
vehicle.
During his leadership, Mazzini enticed Albert Pike into
the (now formally disbanded, but still operating)
Illuminati. Pike was fascinated by the idea of a one
world government, and when asked by Mazzini,
readily agreed to write a ritual tome that guided the
transition from average high-ranking mason into a
top-ranking Illuminati mason (33rd degree). Since
Mazzini also wanted Pike to head the Illuminati's
American chapter, he clearly felt Pike was worthy of
such a task. Mazzini's intention was that once a
mason had made his way up the Freemason ladder
and proven himself worthy, the highest ranking
members would offer membership to the secret
'society within a society'.
As do most occultists, Albert Pike had a "spirit guide,"
who dispensed "Divine Wisdom" and enlightened him
regarding how to achieve the New World Order. One
message that Albert Pike received from his "spirit
guide," and which in reality we know to be a demonic
vision, he described in a letter that he wrote to
This letter graphically outlined plans for three world
wars that were seen as necessary to bring about the
One World Order, and we can marvel at how
accurately it has predicted events that have already
taken place.
This is not because the devil has powers of prophecy,
but because his agents have undertaken to
manipulate political events to closely follow his
designs. For a short time, this letter was on display in
the British Museum Library in London, and it was
copied by William Guy Carr, former Intelligence
Officer in the Royal Canadian Navy.
MORALS AND DOGMA; THE BLUEPRINT
In 1871, Pike published the 861 page Masonic
handbook known as the Morals and Dogma of the
Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of
Freemasonry22. Pike worked out a military blueprint
for three world wars and various revolutions
throughout the world which he considered would
forward the conspiracy to its final stage in the 21st
Century.
"The First World War must be brought about in order to
permit the Illuminati to overthrow the power of the Czars in
Russia and of making that country a fortress of atheistic
Communism. The divergences caused by the
"agentur" (agents) of the Illuminati between the British and
Germanic Empires will be used to foment this war. At the
end of the war, Communism will be built and used in order
to destroy the other governments and in order to weaken
the religions."
Students of history will recognize that the political
alliances of England on one side and Germany on the
other, forged between 1871 and 1898 by Otto von
Bismarck, co-conspirator of Albert Pike, were
instrumental in bringing about the First World War.

The First World War was designed to enable the
Czarist Government in Russia to be finally and
completely overthrown. The new Russian government
was foreseen to be atheistic and militaristic. Further,
Pike specified that this new Russian Government was
to be Communistic.
Karl Marx had published his Communist Manifesto in
1848, exactly 22 years before this occultic prophecy
through Albert Pike. Isn't it interesting that the occultic
number 22 keeps popping up? The multiplier

see in a few moments.
History records that this First World War did, indeed,
occur just as listed, above. The Western powers in
Europe, in conjunction with the United States,
financed Lenin's expedition into Russia, they financed
his government consistently, and we have financed
Russian Communism at least once per decade since
then. .“
Central to the Illuminati plan was the creation of a
Jewish homeland, to gather Jews for the reception of
the Messiah, and their ultimate rulership of the world.
Palestine was in Ottoman land, so The First World
War disintegrated this major obstacle, the Ottoman
Caliphate, which was finally dismantled in 1924,
ending 1300 years of consolidated Islamic power.
"The Second World War must be fomented by taking

After this Second World War, Communism was made
strong enough to begin taking over weaker
governments. In 1945, at the Potsdam Conference
between Truman, Churchill, and Stalin, a large portion
of Europe was simply handed over to Russia, and on
the other side of the world, the aftermath of the war
with Japan helped to sweep the tide of Communism
into China.
History again records that the Second World War did,
indeed, accomplish this objective. The war started
when Germany invaded Poland, causing Great Britain
to declare war on Germany. Certainly, the Pike vision
of the Second World War building Russian
Communism into a super power was fulfilled to a
startling degree.
Historians have always been mystified as to how
Churchill and Roosevelt could have given away all of
Eastern Europe to the Soviets, when the
preponderance of power was clearly against the
Soviets. Clearly, when Roosevelt and Churchill ceded
all of Eastern Europe to Russia, the Communist
Government of Russia, now known as the U.S.S.R.
{Union of Soviet Socialist Republics) completed its
transition to a super power, exactly as Pike's vision
had foretold.
Additionally with the Second World War, the role of
the United Nations was secured, and with the so-
called Holocaust, propaganda about persecution of
the Jews was created to argue for the creation of the
State of Israel. By it, they convinced their own people
into migrating from the various countries around the
world to Israel, in order to escape persecution and
possible annihilation. They convinced the world,
under the guise of the United Nations, to approve the
establishment of the State of Israel which led to the
rise of Zionism as a major political force.
WORLD WAR III: KEY TO WORLD GOVERNMENT
"The Third World War must be fomented by taking advantage of

JP: Tom, thank you for agreeing to do this interview.
TH: Certainly, Joe, you're welcome, glad to do it.
JP: Well, I was very interested after hearing you on radio
recently. The fact that a conservative with your credentials
was willing to talk about UFOs, life on other planets,
government coverup, it was a bit of a surprise. I want to
ask you the hard questions, but first, give us a little
background if you will as to why you are talking about this
now.
TH: Let me begin at my childhood. My father grew up
riding fence lines for the Bard Ranch, the largest open
range cattle ranch in those days with tens of thousands of
open acres. Consequently, Dad knew the Arizona desert
like the back of his hand. After returning from the Korean
War, he took a job as a policeman in the small town of El
Mirage, Arizona. in to all of that in those days.
Years later he worked with Dell Webb, who built Las Ve-
gas, and as you know the Mafia was tied in to all of that in
those days. Dad stayed with Webb for twenty-five years
or more, building Youngtown and then Sun City
JP: I heard you start to say something about this on radio
the other night and then the host cautioned you about it.
Is this where you think your dad became a connected
man, through the Dell Webb corporation?
TH: I can only speculate on that. But it was about this
time that Dad, who loved to deer hunt, made an amazing
discovery. Several large and spherical craters, perhaps
twenty feet across and eight feet deep, were discovered
in an unexplored section of the range where he was hunt-
ing. The cavities were so precise that it looked as if an
enormous white-hot ball had routered into the rock. The
finish on the walls was such that rainwater filled the orbs.
The sides of the holes were slick and each pool contained
deer that had fallen in and drowned while attempting to
drink the water. Dad took pictures, including the one I
gave you where the curvature of the hole is distorted by a
bend in the old photo. He showed the pictures to the fam-
ily and I remember being especially impressed, and later
he led a representative of the Army Corps of Engineers to
the location. The origin of the craters was never deter-
mined, and the Corps of Engineers dynamited the pools
with rock to protect the wildlife. The Phoenix Gazette or
another paper ran an article on the baffling holes, re-
printed photographs of my father kneeling beside the
orbs, and that seemed to be the end of the story.
JP: But it wasn't.
TH: Not at all. On November 5, 1975, along the northeast-
ern ridge of that mountain range, Travis Walton stepped
out of his pick-up to look at what he called a glowing ob-
ject. According to the report, while a crew of loggers
waited nearby, Travis approached the UFO and was
jolted by an energy wave. As his companions fled in ter-
ror, Travis was taken on-board the so-called alien space-
craft and subjected to a variety of physical examinations.
His story, Fire in the Sky, was made into a motion picture.
Supposedly it's the best documented account of a UFO
abduction ever recorded. I don't know if Walton’s story
was true or if there was a connection between his experi-
ence and my father's earlier discovery in the same area.
JP: But immediately after this event, things got weird at
your home.

TH: According to my mother, who by the way didn't
believe in anything about UFOs or aliens...
JP: Let me interrupt. As I understand it, there was no
discussion at anytime in your family before or after these
events about aliens.
TH: Absolutely not. First of all, we're talking over forty
years ago. There was no consensus back then about
alien abduction or any widespread characterizations of
alien Greys. Secondly, we were a very old fashioned
Pentecostal Christian home. We weren't allowed to watch
TV, go to movies, any of that. We'd have gotten spanked
for even mentioning such absurd ideas! [Tom laughs]
JP: Yet something very unusual started happening right
after your dad's discovery.
TH: Yes. As I started to say, according to Mom, my aunt
who lived a few doors down from us came to the house
one day. She was ashen white, visibly shaken, wanting to
know what the 'thing' was that had been hovering above
our house. Mom went outside and nothing was there.
JP: Your aunt described it as a shiny circular object.
TH: That's right.
JP: And following this?
TH: A few nights later, and I still remember this vividly, I
was shook from bed by the sound of my sister screaming.
Horrible, terrifying screaming. Everybody in the house
jumped out of bed and ran to her room. She was sitting up
in bed, and the look on her face, it was unlike anything
I've seen since. Mom stayed with her that night. Put a
Bible under her pillow, anointing cloths on her and prayed
with her. Some time later Mom told me that my sister had
woke that night and saw small, bulbous-headed Grey men
standing around her bed.
JP: You said in one interview that your Mom's prayers
made a difference in keeping the small men away.
TH: They certainly appeared to. I draw this conclusion
because over the next forty years the phenomenon
happened over and over and whenever prayer was made,
the event would stop for a while.
JP: Then start over again.
TH: Yes.
JP: Is this why you place a spiritual element on this
activity, whatever it is?
TH: That's one part of it. Remember, I pastored for over
twenty years and was an evangelist for some time too.
JP: Wasn't you connected to Trinity Broadcasting and
those people at the time?
TH: Uh-huh, had my own television and radio program.
Yet even during those years I investigated my sister's
phenomenon through the filter of my conservative
upbringing and found that there are many layers to the
abduction phenomenon. I concluded that the experience
is real is some cases, but how do you interpret it? It's at
least as complex as the physical world.
JP: Weren't you also an exorcist for the church?
TH: In evangelical Christianity it's different than the
Catholic Church. We don't refer to ourselves the same
way, but yes, I performed exorcism.
JP: And you were in the Assemblies of God, right?
TH: Yes. Still hold credentials with them. In fact I'm
currently doing some consulting work for them at the
State level.
JP: The Assemblies of God is the biggest evangelical
organization in the world, right?
TH: Used to be. Probably still are.
JP: What do they think about your book and research?
TH: I'm considered a maverick, but in good standing. I
had lunch with the State Superintendent and the district
Finance Manager last week and the Sup told me he had
read The Ahriman Gate.
JP: What did he think of it.
TH: [Tom laughs again] Well, he said my wife and I were
very good writers and had kept him very engaged. Then I
said, "Okay, so what's the rub?" and he admitted that the
Nephilim stuff scared him. He also admitted, as did the
finance manager, that the church is woefully unprepared
to answer the questions and ramifications raised by my
research.
JP: As a matter of fact, this is partly how you started
down this road years ago, right.
TH: Right. I was pastoring near Roseburg, Oregon and
started noticing that the emerging definitions of so-called
alien abduction bore an amazing resemblance to what my
sister had experienced throughout her lifetime. In many
cases, the story that people around the world were telling

was identical to what my family had kept under wraps for
decades.
JP: I heard that. Your family never talked about this.
TH: Oh no, no way.
JP: Why?
TH: Lots of reasons. You didn't want people to think you
were crazy. Also there wasn't anybody in the church to go
to. They would just think you were mentally unstable or
demon possessed.
JP: But haven't you come to that conclusion yourself, that
demonism is part of alien abduction?
TH: In some cases what is defined as alien abduction
parallels historic demonic activity. Even guys like Vallee
make this connection. Again, think about this
phenomenon as being as complex as the physical world.
Many, many layers and attributes. My niece, who was a
federal employee for the Social Security division, has had
similar experiences and sent me the picture I showed you
of what could be the first photographic evidence of an
alien Grey standing half inside the frame and looking
directly at the camera.
JP: Which brings up the question of generational
abduction of your sister and now her daughter. Is the
daughter also a Christian?
TH: Yes.
JP: And didn't she get approached by Steven Spielberg's
people during the 'Taken' Television series?
TH: She was in Seattle to see a football game with
friends. Before the game she was at the Space Needle
with her husband, and they got lost. From out of nowhere,
a well-dressed man and woman approached them and
said, "Come with us, you've been chosen." The man
looked military - tall, crew cut hair, firm disposition, and
the woman was equally disposed. Both wore 'passes'
around their necks with bar-codes on them. After a brief
conversation it was learned that the two people worked
with Stephen Spielberg. A promotional tent had been set
up across the street to promote the television special,
'Taken', about alien abductees. My niece and her
husband were excited and agreed to be 'interviewed' in
exchange for promotional gifts. Once inside the tent,
which was guarded, only those chosen by Spielberg could
get in, my niece was asked bizarre questions about her
health, dreams, and so on.
She learned that the ball stadium was an exact replica of
the Close Encounters of the Third Kind Receiving Center.
The group of people were led into a room and told to form
a circle and hold hands. The lights went out and the room
felt like it was twirling around and around, fog filled the
room, bright lights flooded in, and a voice said, "You have
just been abducted." Different things went on that I'll not
take time to explain. Finally my niece was examined and
selected by Spielberg as one of two people in Oregon that
had likely been abducted. They took her to another room
and showed her Spielberg's private collection of authentic
'implants', metallic objects taken from the bodies of
abductees.
JP: I understand Dr. Roger Leir - the alien implant
researcher - wants copies of these Spielberg implants.
TH: He's asked for them and I've agreed to send them to
him.
JP: Getting back to the subject, why now? After all these
years, why write a book and go on radio and in other
media talking about this?
TH: On December 23, 2002 I was interviewed on
American Freedom Network News. Rick Wiles had read
an editorial I wrote about the roll that popular films were
playing in conditioning culture for a new religion, an ET
religion and New Age universalism that would eventually
displace traditional Christianity. Toward the end of the
one-hour broadcast, Rick ask what would happen if the
leaders of the world walked out into the well of the United
Nations with ET and made formal official disclosure. His
opinion was that it would shake organized Christianity
from its foundations and open the door for Antichrist. I
agreed, and pointed out how the leaders of the Church,
including those I respected and worked with, had their
heads intentionally in the sand and were refusing to
seriously calculate the theological and philosophical
ramifications, leaving their adherents at risk.
JP: Doesn't this go back to the numbers that simply don't
believe in UFOs and the related matter?
TH: What numbers? See, Joe, this is the irony in all of
this, and I made this point with the Superintendent the
other day too. Over 90% of the worlds population believe
in God, but almost that many believe in the possibility of
extraterrestrial intelligence too. So what numbers? A tiny
10% of the population setting the discussion format for the
vast majority? What could be more relevant?
If I was still pastoring and I knew that eight out of every
ten people in my church believed both in God and ET,
wouldn't I have some responsibility to provide legitimate
answers to these people, my flock, when their questions
about ET, God, cosmology came up?

This is one of the reasons people are turning to the New
Age adherents, because whether you agree with them or
not, they are providing answers and people need
answers. The church needs to wake up and consider
these facts theologically and philosophically.
JP: Sure, but for you, there's more to this I believe.
TH: Yeah, well, I got off track again. So... there I was,
being interviewed on the growing possibilities of official
disclosure, and we finished the show and a few days later
I got a call from Bob Liparulo wanting to know if he could
interview me and use my research information for a
feature article he had been hired to write for New Man
Magazine - The Gospel According to Star Wars.
JP: You're talking about Robert Liparulo?
TH: Yeah, the author of 'Comes A Horseman' that's
coming out next month.
JP: I read something about that.
TH: He's an award-winning author but he also used to be
a celebrity journalist. He interviewed guys like Stephen
King, Tom Clancy, Charlton Heston for major magazines.
Last week in fact he emailed me to let me know the movie
rights to his book 'Comes a Horseman' have been
optioned to Mace Neufeld, the Hollywood producer that
did the movie versions of Tom Clancy’s books like 'The
Sum of All Fears', 'Clear and Present Danger', 'Patriot
Games', and some others.
JP: So when a guy like that calls, you take the call.
TH: I was happy to do it. But the important point is that
the interview with Rick Wiles, the editorials I had written
for some major US press, the interview with Liparulo, the
New Man Magazine feature story, all of this was almost
immediately followed by the old friend of Dad's contacting
me. Somehow the high profile comments had rang a bell,
and he was in a position to know facts from fiction.
JP: Phobos?
TH: That's what I call him.
JP: And?
TH: He said he had top-down information on what I was
talking about. He was a family friend, I hadn't heard from
him in years, so we set up a meeting and there have been
dozens of meetings since.
JP: You call Phobos a family friend, and I know some of
the information he gave you was inserted into the fiction
of your new novel, interesting that you did that, but do you
really know this guy? Couldn't he be playing you as a
disinformation agent?
TH: It's complicated. First, let me say this. After my
parents were divorced when I was a teenager, I came
home one day and there was this Latin woman in our
house. It looked like she had been branded, burned with a
mark above one breast. I overheard my Uncle Hubert,
who was there, talking to my dad about her being a Mafia
Prostitute. Later that week I rode with my dad to the
Phoenix airport where we put her on a plane. A couple
days later there was this newspaper among my dad's stuff
at the house with just a picture of this woman's head on it,
and a headline that said something like, "Does Anybody
Know This Woman?". I learned years later that she was a
Mob prostitute with special information. Dad was keeping
her at our home as a safe house, then sending her
somewhere in California to meet with somebody over
something I know nothing about. She never made it. Just
her head was found along a California road. I remember
listening in as my dad phoned somebody whose name I
won't mention, and this guy took care of things so that
dad would not be hurt. So when you ask if Phobos could
be using me as a disinfo agent, this is far too complicated
to answer in a setting like this. These are connected guys
with different responsibilities and agendas. But Phobos
has been straight with me, on both sides of the value of
info and disinfo.
JP: Disinfo is valuable? In what way?
TH: In many ways. Disinformation is a tool. It can control
the flow of information by crediting then discrediting then
re-crediting and discrediting.
JP: What?
TH: You know, there has to be a mechanical method for
controlling how fast the public assimilates specific
information. The military and sophisticated governments
use disinformation as a tool for hundreds of years to
regulate the pace at which people learn the truth. It's a
process of gradualism. Throw something out there that
sounds shocking, watch the public reaction, reel in their
imaginations by discrediting the sources, then start the
process over again. Over time the laws of redundancy,
like the boy crying wolf, take over. People hear about it for
so long that they become dull to the idea. Finally, when
you reveal it as true, everybody reacts like it is old news,
not shocking at all, even expected, anticipated.

JP: I don't think anybody would react to official ET JP: Can you tell me, is ET reality part of the future, yes or
disclosure as old news. no?

TH: Yet polling shows that a vast majority of people are TH: Yes.
ready to accept the idea now, so the back and forth of
info/disinfo played its part over the last fifty years in JP: Do you define some of the ET reality as demonic?

JP: So... are you admitting that you are a disinfo agent?
JP: All of it?
TH: I'm not admitting that at all. Look. If a spy carries a
half dozen sets of visas, all with different names, does this TH: No.
mean his work is illegitimate? Absolutely not. Disinfo in
this sense is a necessary tool to protect his identity in the JP: Artificial structures off world?
course of official work. Actors do the same thing all the
time, checking into motels using disinformation so that TH: Yes.
they will be left alone. Government and military schools
teach the principles of disinformation under a wide array JP: Any hard evidence? Pictures, film, materials on hand?
of applications, and there is no doubt that wars have been
won using the principle. TH: Yes, yes, and yes.

JP: And this is part of official alien disclosure. JP: Disclosure this year?

TH: Certainly, has to be. TH: [smiles]

JP: Nevertheless you think you know that date, don't you.

TH: In close proximity.

JP: And it is?

TH: [laughter] You're crazy, right!?

JP: Not even a hint?

TH: I already did that, and it nearly got me in big trouble!

JP: Yeah, I saw the log on and the radio signal jamming.
Government and military traces big time. Didn't that worry
you.

TH: No.

JP: Why?

TH: There is a side, a part of the government and military

that want disclosure now.

JP: Uh, okay, and you see yourself there. So what about
ET reality, Is that part of the coming picture too?

TH: Tell you what, Joe, give me the rest of your questions
in Yes and No-s and I'll try to answer them.

THE VATICAN: A BRIDGE TO PROTESTANTISM
In an extraordinary bid to lure traditionalist Anglicans
en masse, the Vatican announced on Tuesday
October 20th that it would make it easier for
Anglicans uncomfortable with their church’s
acceptance of female priests and openly gay
bishops to join the Roman Catholic Church while
retaining many of their traditions.
Anglicans would be able “to enter full communion
with the Catholic Church while preserving elements
of the distinctive Anglican spiritual and liturgical
patrimony,” Cardinal William J. Levada, the prefect
for the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith,
said at a news conference.
It was unclear why the Vatican made the
announcement now. But it seemed a rare
opportunity, audaciously executed, to capitalize on
deep divisions within the Anglican Church to attract
new members at a time when the Catholic Church
has been trying to reinvigorate itself in Europe.
The issue has long been close to the heart of Pope
Benedict XVI, who for years has worked to build ties
to those Anglicans who, like conservative Catholics,
spurn the idea of female and gay priests.
Catholic and Anglican leaders sought after the
announcement to present the move as a joint effort
to aid those seeking conversion. But it appeared that
the Vatican had engineered it on its own, presenting
it as a fait accompli to the Most Rev. Rowan
Williams, archbishop of Canterbury and the spiritual
head of the Anglican Communion, only in recent
weeks. Some Anglican and Catholic leaders
expressed surprise, even shock, at the news.
The move could have the deepest impact in
England, where large numbers of traditionalist
Anglicans have protested the Church of England’s
embrace of liberal theological reforms like
consecrating female bishops. Experts say these
Anglicans, and others in places like Australia, might
be attracted to the Roman Catholic fold because
they have had nowhere else to go. If entire parishes
or even dioceses leave the Church of England for
the Catholic Church, experts and church officials
speculated, it could set off battles over ownership of
to join the Catholic Church, because they have
already broken away from the Episcopal Church and
formed their own conservative Anglican structures
(though some do allow women to be priests).
The Vatican’s announcement signals a significant
moment in relations between two churches that first
parted in the Reformation of the 16th century over
theological issues and the primacy of the pope.
The Protestant Reformation is the name given to a
religious and political development in the early 16th
century. The reformation was led by Martin Luther, a
monk from Germany. He said that the Roman
Catholic Church was corrupt and that it should be
reformed. Luther also argued that a reformation was
needed of other things. In particular reformation was
required with regards: the language that the Bible was
produced in: most people couldn’t read Latin; the
selling of forgiveness, this was considered to be
immoral by Luther but had been standard practice by
some monks and priests for years. The ideas behind
the Protestant Reformation were simple. The church
should be changed, or reformed, so that it was less
greedy, fairer and accessible to all people, not just the
rich and well educated.
The protest against the church was not entirely new.
In England there had been similar protests in the 14th
century: although these had been crushed. Luther
though gained a lot of support for his ideas. Many
people were unhappy with the Pope and the church.
The King and the English people jumped at the
opportunity to cut the cord and escape the bondage
of Rome. This move happened almost over night –
and in order to appease all evolved the Church of
England did not stray very far away from the
teachings and the mass of the Catholic Church, they
simply recognized their King as God’s representative
on earth.
However, over the centuries the Church of England
and the Anglican Church in North America has gone
through many changes. Considered one of the most
liberal of faiths among Christendom they were the first
to embrace extreme theological reforms like
consecrating female bishops and accepting gays into
priesthood.

In recent decades, the Anglican Communion and the
Roman Catholic Church have sought to heal the
centuries of division. Some feared that the Vatican’s
move might jeopardize decades of dialogue between
Catholics and Anglicans by implying that the aim
was conversion.
The Very Rev. David Richardson, the archbishop of
Canterbury’s representative to the Vatican, said he
was taken aback.
“I don’t see it as an affront to the Anglican Church, but I’m
puzzled by what it means and by the timing of it,” he said.
“I think some Anglicans will feel affronted.”
Under the new arrangement, the Catholic practice
that has allowed married Anglican priests while
forbidding Catholic priests to marry could pose
problems for some Catholics. But he argued that the
circumstances differed.
Under the new structure, former Anglicans who
become Catholic could preserve some elements of
Anglican worship, including hymns and other
“intangible” elements, Archbishop J. Augustine Di
Noia, the Vatican’s deputy chief liturgical officer, said
at the news conference.
Some pundits see the Vatican’s move as reversing
the tide of the Protestant Reformation that began
nearly 500 years ago. This is a bit of an
overstatement; even the most optimistic observers
think that only a couple of hundred Anglican clergy
will desert, in large part because there are so many
Catholic doctrines that are inimical to Anglican
thought: the infallibility of the Pope, the near-
Goddess status of Mary, the magical transformation
of the bread and wine at the Eucharist, etc.
For now it’s really just more splintering; the
Anglicans the Pope is seducing are the ones who
hate the idea of women bishops, so they will get
their own mini-church under the Catholic umbrella,
chortling all the way about how embarrassing this is
for the leadership that foisted women clergy on them
in the first. However as we have seen throughout
history the beginning of change always happens with
a minor incubation period which initiates an
irreversible process leading to a much more bigger
end goal.
RATZINGER: TO REUNITE CHURCH AND STATE
Pope Ratzinger whilst being a conservative pope
which acts a barrier to Roman Catholicism falling into
total apostasy because of the many high ranking
clergy who are now liberalists, shares an extreme
right-wing ideology espoused by the Dominionists and
the Supreme Court Justices who are members of his
personal prelature, Opus Dei, which is exclusively
accountable to himself. Concerned liberals have
expressed fears that the global network of Opus Dei
operatives under the direction of this fascist Pope will
have the political power to elevate the Roman
Catholic Church above civil authorities.
“The selection of Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger as the new
pope is a clear sign that the Vatican will seek to use its
influence to promote the most reactionary political forces
within the ruling elites of countries around the world,
particularly in Europe.
“Ratzinger’s long record as enforcer of Church doctrine and
chief adviser to Pope John Paul II strongly indicates that as
Pope Benedict XVI, he will aggressively intervene into
political affairs, using issues such as abortion and
homosexuality to foster the development of a social base
for right-wing parties and policies.
“The new pope has close ties to ultra-conservative factions
within the Catholic Church, such as Opus Dei, which are
openly hostile to the core democratic principle of the
separation of church and state, and seek to elevate the
Church over civil authority. Such theocratic tendencies are
increasingly being embraced by parties on the right as part
of their ideological arsenal for attacking all of the social and
democratic gains achieved in the course of the twentieth
century.” (“Pope Benedict XVI’s Political Resume:
Theocracy And Social Reaction”)
One of the most blatant examples of Ratzinger’s
intervention into the political affairs of a country was
his role in the 2004 US presidential election. A
number of American Catholic bishops publicly
declared in the run-up to the election that they would
deny Holy Communion to Democratic candidate John
Kerry, a Catholic, because of his pro-choice stance on
abortion rights.
Over coming editions we will increase our focus on
the Vatican and their increasing willingness to raise
the profile of their contention for world influence.

THE CLUB OF ROME MODEL
The Club of Rome is a global think tank that deals with a variety
of international political issues. It was founded in April 1968 and
raised considerable public attention 1972 with its report Limits
to Growth.
Provisions will be made to investigate any individual country or
sub region in the context of regional global development. The
model has been developed up to the stage where it can be
used for policy analysis related to a number of critical issues
such as: energy resources utilization and technology
assessment; food demand and production; population growth
and the affect of timing of birth control programs; reduction of
inequities in regional economic developments; depletion
dynamics of certain resources, particularly oil reserves;
phosphorus use as fertilizer; regional unemployment;
constraints on growth due to labor, energy export limitation.
The Club is composed of "scientists, economists, businessmen,
international high civil servants, heads of state and former
heads of state from all five continents who are convinced that
the future of humankind is not determined once and for all and
that each human being can contribute to the improvement of
our societies.
The Club of Rome also consists of members of the so-called
Black Nobility of Europe, old families which lived in Venice and
Genoa. These people have ruled vast financial empires for the
past fifteen hundred years. 'They are called the 'Black' nobility
because of their constant use of dirty tricks, terrorism and
unethical methods which they never hesitate to use against
anyone who would dare to stand in their way. These people are
very closely allied to the "German Marshall Fund" which
organizes and finances most of the work of the Club of Rome.
10 WORLD BIO REGIONS
According to the Club of Rome model the world is to be divided
into ten regions (as illustrated below) which is a major premise
of the report Regionalized and Adaptive Model of the Global
World System. The idea is now coming to life in the United
Nations as regions begin to form economic blocks loosely
modelled after the European Union. Since the time of this map,
Mexico has been added to the North American region (1) as
part of the coming creation of the controversial American Union
and Israel is supposed to be aligned with region number (4).
The North American Union is a proposed international
government encompassing the nations of Canada, the United
States, and Mexico. It could be considered the North American
analogue of the European Union. The blueprint for this
governing body was laid out in a 2005 report entitled "Building a
North American Community" published by the Council on
Foreign Relations (CFR), an American foreign policy think tank,
with input from the Canadian Council of Chief Executives and
the Consejo Mexicano de Asuntos Internacionales.

Union; Other regional blocs in the making are:

• Arab League
• Asian Pacific Union

THE UNION OF SOUTH AMERICAN NATIONS
The Union of South American Nations (UNASUR) was
established on May 23, 2008, with the headquarters to be in
Ecuador, the South American Parliament to be in Bolivia, and
the Bank of the South to be in Venezuela. As the BBC reported,
“The leaders of 12 South American nations have formed a
regional body aimed at boosting economic and political
integration in the region,” and that, “The Unasur members are
Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana,
Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay and Venezuela.” 257
The week following the announcement of the Union, it was
reported that, “Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said
Monday that South American nations will seek a common
currency as part of the region's integration efforts following the
creation of the Union of South American Nations.” He was
quoted as saying, “We are proceeding so as, in the future, we
have a common central bank and a common currency.”

AN ASIAN MONETARY UNION
In September of 2007, Forbes reported that, “An East Asian
monetary union anchored by Japan is feasible but the region
lacks the political will to do it, the Asian Development Bank
said.” Pradumna Rana, an Asian Development Bank (ADB)
economist, said that, “it appears feasible to establish a currency
union in East Asia -- particularly among Indonesia, Japan,
South) Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand,”
and that, “The economic potential for monetary integration in
(Asia is strong, even though the political underpinnings of such
an accord are not yet in place.” Further, “the real integration at
the trade levels 'will actually reinforce the economic case for
monetary union in Asia, in a similar way that real-sector
integration did so in Europe,” and ultimately, “the road to an
Asian monetary union could proceed on a 'multi-track, multi-
speed' basis with a seamless Asian free trade area the goal on
the trade side
AFRICAN MONETARY UNION
The African Union was founded in 2002, and is an
intergovernmental organization consisting of 53 African states.
In 2003, the Brookings Institution produced a paper on African
economic integration. In it, the authors started by stating that,
“Africa, like other regions of the world, is fixing its sights on
creating a common currency. Already, there are projects for
regional monetary unions, and the bidding process for an
eventual African central bank is about to begin.” It states that,
“A common currency was also an objective of the Organization
for African Unity and the African Economic Community, the
predecessors of the AU,” and further, that, “
The 1991 Abuja Treaty establishing the African Economic
Community outlines six stages for achieving a single monetary
zone for Africa that were set to be completed by approximately
2028. In the early stages, regional cooperation and integration
within Africa would be strengthened, and this could involve
regional monetary unions. The final stage involves the
establishment of the African Central Bank (ACB) and creation of
a single African currency and an African Economic and
Monetary Union.”
The paper further states that the African Central Bank (ACB)
“would not be created until around 2020, [but] the bidding
process for its location is likely to begin soon,” however, “there
are plans for creating various regional monetary unions, which
would presumably form building blocks for the single African
central bank and currency.”
THE GULF COOPERATION COUNCIL
In 2005, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), a regional trade
bloc among Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and
the United Arab Emirates (UAE), announced the goal of
creating a single common currency by 2010. It was reported
that,
“An economically united and efficient GCC is clearly a more
interesting proposition for larger companies than each individual
economy, especially given the impediments to trade evident
within the region. This is why trade relations within the GCC
have been a core focus of late.” Further, “The natural extension
of this trend for increased integration is to introduce a common
currency in order to further facilitate trade between the different
countries.” It was announced that, “the region's central bankers
had agreed to pursue monetary union in a similar fashion
to the rules used in Europe.” 21
In March of 2009, it was reported that, “The GCC should not
rush into forming a single currency as member states need to
work out the framework for a regional central bank, Saudi
Arabia's Central Bank Governor Muhammad Al Jasser.” Jasser
was further quoted as saying, “It took the European Union 45
years to put together a single currency. We should not rush.” In
2008, with the global financial crisis, new problems were posed
for the GCC initiative, as “Pressure mounted last year on the
GCC members to drop their currency pegs as inflation
accelerated above 10 per cent in five of the six countries. All of
the member states except Kuwait peg their currencies to the
dollar and tend to follow the US Federal Reserve when setting
interest rates.”
NORTH AMERICAN UNION
In November of 2007, one of Canada’s richest billionaires,
Stephen Jarislowsky, also a member of the board of the C.D.
Howe Institute, told a Canadian Parliamentary committee that,
“Canada should replace its dollar with a North American
currency, or peg it to the U.S. greenback, to avoid the exchange
rate shifts the loonie has experienced,” and that, “I think we
have to really seriously start thinking of the model of a
continental currency just like Europe.”
Former Mexican President Vicente Fox, while appearing on
Larry King Live in 2007 was asked a question regarding the
possibility of a common currency for Latin America, to which he
responded by saying,
“Long term, very long term. What we propose together,
President Bush and myself, it's ALCA, which is a trade union for
all of the Americas. And everything was running fluently until
Hugo Chavez came. He decided to isolate himself. He decided
to combat the idea and destroy the idea.”
Larry King then asked, “It's going to be like the euro dollar, you
mean?” to which Fox responded,
“Well, that would be long, long term. I think the processes to go,
first step into is trading agreement. And then further on, a new
vision, like we are trying to do with NAFTA.”
In January of 2008, Herbert Grubel, the author who coined the
term “amero” for the Fraser Institute report, wrote an article for
the Financial Post, in which he recommends fixing the
Canadian loonie to the US dollar at a fixed exchange rate, but
that there are inherent problems with having the US Federal
“there is a solution to this lack of credibility. In Europe, it came
through the creation of the euro and formal end of the ability of
national central banks to set interest rates. The analogous
creation of the amero is not possible without the unlikely co-
operation of the United States. This leaves the credibility issue
to be solved by the unilateral adoption of a currency board,
which would ensure that international payments imbalances
automatically lead to changes in Canada's money supply and
interest rates until the imbalances are ended, all without any
actions by the Bank of Canada or influence by politicians. It
would be desirable to create simultaneously the currency board
and a New Canadian Dollar valued at par with the U.S. dollar.
With longer-run competitiveness assured at US90¢ to the U.S.
dollar.”
THE EUROPEAN UNION
Under the newly ratified Lisbon Treaty, member states will no
longer be automatically entitled to appoint a representative to
the EU Commission, reducing the power of smaller nations. The
commission’s “independence”, or lack of accountability, is also
strengthened in the treaty, which stipulates that the commission
“shall neither seek nor take instructions from any government or
other institution, body, office or entity”. In 68 policy areas, or
competencies, the council would no longer require a unanimous
vote to pass, but rather only a qualified majority vote.
Under Lisbon, the European Court of Justice would gain
dominant power and jurisdiction over justice, policing and laws.
The EU’s police force, whose officers are immune from
prosecution, would be expanded. The proposed reforms would
transfer powers from national governments to the EU in more
than 100 competencies, including justice, economic policy,
defence and foreign policy — the largest transfer of powers in
the EU’s history.

The best writings in Ufology have always drawn a clear distinction between fact and speculation. Such
writings build, by way of ample factual analysis, a solid foundation upon which tentative explanations of
the UFO phenomenon can be proposed.

Heavenly Lights: The Apparitions of Fátima and the UFO

Phenomenon, by Portuguese historians Joaquim
Fernandes and Fina D'Armada is one such book. They
have been investigating the Fátima incident since 1978,
when they were the first historians given access to the
original documents of the case held at the Fátima
sanctuary.

Heavenly Lights is both true to the real facts of the

Fátima events (as distinguished from hundreds of
previous works, which were without rigorous historical
support) and abundant in detail (with hundreds of facts
taken from the actual historical record).

In Part I, the authors investigate the phenomena

associated with the Being of Fátima. What the children
encountered was a luminous being, similar in
appearance to the aliens described in close encounter
cases, that communicated with them, telepathically, as
she stood at the end of a beam of light projected from a
craft hovering high above them.

In Part II, the authors revisit the Cova da Iria, where the
contacts took place, and identify many aspects of the
Fátima apparitions that also appear in the modern close
encounter literature. These include thunder and lightning-
like effects, a strange sound like "the buzzing of bees,"
bizarre clouds, strange odors, ramps of light, drying
breezes, the fall of the peculiar substance "angel hair," and telepathic communication by the alien
visitors.

In Part III, the authors explain what actually happened during "The Miracle of the Sun." The evidence
indicates that it was not an astronomical event but rather an aerial one that resulted when an alien craft
caused a partial eclipse of the Sun and performed other amazing displays that bedazzled the thousands
of curious onlookers who came to Fátima.

In this meticulous phenomenological presentation, the authors have dug deep into the historical record
as only Portuguese speaking researchers could, tracking down accounts from the time in the form of
newspapers, meteorological reports, letters written by witnesses to their relatives, and even a couple of
eye witnesses still alive when they were doing their research.

What is crucial here was going back to the original testimonies and stories. Lucia, the primary
"seer" ("experiencer"?), later entered a convent, and her story became progressively more and more
attuned to the Catholic paradigm, her writings made subject to approval by Church authorities. The
authors have put less emphasis on these later "official" versions, and relied more on the first reports.
Lucia originally never said it was the Virgin Mary she saw, it was the adults around her that jumped to
that conclusion. Based on the time and culture they lived in, how else could they have interpreted it?

What emerges is something far stranger and less easy to interpret than a "simple" Marian apparition.
Through careful analysis and comparison with other UFO cases, they show that most if not all elements
present in the Fatima apparitions are found throughout the UFO literature as well.
