Phoenix Demon
The scorching rays of the ivory sun penetrated my flesh, twisting andturning...phlegmatically destroying all that is living, corrupting all that is breathing.A breath of the putrid air, a breath of the secluded atmosphere. Agony.Trampled upon by the vast emptiness in the ruins of human existence.Oblivious, bound and deep scarlet heart of mine. Quivering. Deteriorating under thestench of these overwhelming emotions.Seconds crawled by like lethargic insects and the heat of the magnificent orb in the skyevaporated into the dying day.Far away, where mystery governs each and every occurence, jewels of vibrant yetminiscule potency glimmered like sequins sewn onto a flowing gown. Gown of dusk, morbid fantasies strewn across its infinite surface as seeds of all that is immortal, all thatis eerily fascinating. Night, oh glorious Night! You are here to provide salvation for my broken spirit. Your venom seeps into my very being. Your venom makes me drunken as its pitiful beauty embraces my soul.Oh Night, glorious Night! Save me from the ache of being human, grant me with sweetsweet paradise, ethereal Elysium. And it spoke to me with silent words, caressing me with its tranquility. It stroked me likea mother, closing my eyelids with the slightest grace. How would one describe metamorphosis? How would one portray its drastic ways of altering the very quintessence of the soul?A pulse of colossal measure rushed through my veins, pumping against my already deadinsides. The sand felt comforting, cold. I was no longer human, my heart was no longer my life-force. What was keeing me naturally stable was of a phenomenal nature.Contempt is a lethal weapon, contempt can let one live on its sole intoxicating fluid.Contempt can offer much more than ignorance, it can emphasise an individual character much more than kindness or affection can.The ashes of my remorseful existence were shattered across the grains of sand, buriedunderneath the surface. Ablaze, they gave birth to a new creature. Ruby core with less
