Classroom 2.0 – This is a website for teachers that highlights the best
web 2.0 tools for use in the classroom. Membership is required, but is

Voicethread – Use voicethread for students to create videos of their


writing, process skills, how to videos, etc. A free account allows you to
still create videos, but there are limitations. www.voicethread.com

VOKI-You can create, animate, and make a character talk and add the
avatar to a website or wiki. www.voki.com

PBWIKI-Students can create a wiki. A wiki is basically a website that


can be edited in real time by whoever you give accounts and

CHATSKY-Create online chat rooms for your scholars. Students can


converse with each other in real time. Chatrooms are completely
private and safe. www.chatsky.com

COMIC BOOK CREATOR – Free comic book creator. Endless possibilities


for use in the classroom. www.pixton.com

TOONDOO – Another online cartoon creator. The basic one is free, but
you’ll need to use more than one email account. However, you can get
accounts for up to 30 students for one month for $8.00. This is a really
good site. www.toondoo.com

NING – This site allows you to set up your own social network similar to
twitter, facebook, etc. The cost for up to 150 members of $2.95 per

ONE TRUE MEDIA - This is a great alternative to photo story. The free
level is great. Students can put together multimedia projects.

PHOTOPEACH – Another alternative to photo story. This one allows you


to add captions. The free version allows up to 30 pictures per
presentation, which should be plenty. www.photopeach.com

KIZOA – Yet another online slide show maker. www.kizoa.com


DIIGO-Students can share, collaborate, and converse. Teachers can
apply for a free account that allows you to add your entire class.

GLIFFY-This is an awesome, awesome website! It’s free! Students can


create flow charts and diagrams similar to what they can do on
inspiration. You’ll have to spend enough time in the lab to finish since
you’ll have to create an account in order to save. www.gliffy.com

CREATE A GRAPH- This kid friendly website allows students to create


simple bar graphs, line graphs, pie graphs, etc. Very useful classroom

MAKE BELIEFS COMIX – Students can create up to a four panel comic

TERRA CLUES FOR SCHOOLS-Create google scavenger hunts for
