The month of May istruly an exciting one for us all inSabah and we are glad to welcomefriends from far and near to be a partof this excitement.For starters, the month-longcelebration of the Harvest Festival(Tadau Ka’amatan) takes place inMay, a time of thanksgiving for abountiful harvest among theKadazandusun community. Thefestival culminates at the KDCA Hallduring the Grand Finale of the TadauKa’amatan – an event full oftraditional rituals and merriment notto be missed. May is also the time tocatch the 2007 Sabah Fest. Thisspectacular cultural extravaganzafeatures an assemblage of Sabah’svarious ethnic groups under one roof,celebrate through music, dance,fashion, food and a display oftraditional craft. This year, the SabahFest takes place over 2 days, May 3and 4, at the Magellan GrandBallroom. The show starts at 7:00pmand the exhibition begins from10:00am to 10:00pm. Don’t miss ourdaily cultural shows at selectedvenues in conjunction with SabahFest. Bring your family and friends toenjoy this annual cultural event, thebiggest of its kind in Sabah.As we approach the middle of theyear, many more exciting eventsawait you.
