How to create a document with Word:

When you open the word processor, the first thing you see is a blank
document, as a sheet paper.
Start typing to begin working. As you type, the processor may insert a wavy
red o green underline. The red line shows you a possible spelling error. The
green one indicates a possible grammar error.

How to format the text.

Once the text is entered, you can highlight it using bold, italic or underlined
formatting.

If you want to change the font color, clic on the color icon and change
the color of this sentence.
Sometimes, you will need to create a list of things: Use the bulleted option
or the numbered option to organize the information better.
 To select a font, go to the font group and place and select the font
you want. Change the font of this sentence to Lucida Calligraphy.
 Now we are going to see, haw to do other things with the word
processor.

Headers and footers

Headers and footers are placed at the top and at the bottom of the
document. You can write there, little titles, page numbers or dates.
You have to Insert them, so go to Insert menu to do it:
1. At the top in the header, write your name and your partner’s one
2. At the bottom, in the footer, Insert the number of this page.

Remember well how to do this and take notes on your notebook of the
more important thing of these instructions, because in the next lesson you
have to make a document about computers and you must use some of this
thing to make your document look right.
