Outlook
 By the year 2012 we will be the nation’s leader in
apartment complex construction. We will have grown
to 35 states and be beginning to venture in to the west
coast. We will have over 300 employees working out
of our 42 national offices.

History
 Founded in 1963, MRL Construction has grown to be
one of the nations most respected designers and
builders of modern apartment complexes. We have
completed 121 apartment complexes in 21 States. We
strive to be the best at what we do, that is why we do
all our own work. We do not hire out any services; this
is because we stand by our work. We currently employ
201 employees all of whom are highly experienced in
the construction industry. Many investors come to us
because they know the quality of the work we do.

Community Involvement
 MS 150
Since 2001,MRL has participated in the annual MS 150 two-day bike ride starting
in Cincinnati, Ohio to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
 March of Dimes Walk America
Each year MRL matches the monies raised by employees throughout the company
for the March of Dimes Walk America and supports at team for the Indianapolis
Walk America Event.
 Christmas Crusade for Children
Each year MRL employees support our local police force's Christmas Crusade for
Children, providing gifts and cash donations to fill the holiday wishes of needy
children.
 Blood Center
Over the past five years, MRL has been proud to sponsor an annual blood drive for
the Blood Center, encouraging employees, their family and friends, as well as
many of our subcontractors to donate.

Problem Statement
 The problem at hand is the designing of an apartment
complex. This complex is in need of a floor plan,
elevation views, exterior and interior trim items, as
well as a landscape plan.

Solution Statement
 Here at MRL construction we have came up with what
we feel will fulfill the needs of your company.
Included in this packet are floor plan ideas, elevation
views, interior and exterior trim finishes, as well as a
landscape plan.

Project Information
 Enclosed in this packet you will find a detail of a
proposed building located in West Lafayette, Indiana.
This complex will consist of 10 units per floor, and
four floors. There are one and two bedroom units
available. All units are equipped with top of the line
appliances. These units are very spacious and each
contain a private patio or balcony.
