Prophet Noah (A.

S) in the Quran
(In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful, all praise and thanks are due to Allah, and
peace and blessings be upon His Messenger)

The Holy messenger Noah (A.S) is termed as the Second Father of all mankind since Adam,
because of the Flood, most of the disbelievers were lost. Quran narrates the story and gives the
reasons why the civilization of that time was destroyed.

“Allah did choose Adam and Noah the family of Abraham, and the family of Imran above all
people.” (Surah Al-Imran)

“We sent Noah to his people. He said: "O my people! Worship Allah! ye have no other god but
Him. I fear for you the punishment of a dreadful Day!” (Surah Al-Araf)

“So the Ark floated with them on the waves (towering) like mountains, and Noah called out to
his son, who had separated himself (from the rest): "O my son! Embark with us, and be not with
the Unbelievers!" (Surah Hud)
