Paul the Missionary
The apostle Paul was quite possibly the most traveledmissionary of the early church. According to therecords available, it seems that Paul traveled almosteverywhere in His known world – from Jerusalem toGreece and even possibly to Spain.Without Paul’s missionary fervor, it could be the casethat Christians would not be as mission minded – atleast for overseas missions. However, it is important tonote that there were several other Christianmissionaries operating during Paul’s time – includingmany of the disciples who went as far east as India(Thomas Didymus and Barnabus) and possibly as farwest as Western Russia and even Scotland (Andrew, only according to legend).
