The scourge of heroin addiction is not just found in inner city slums but is more and more often found amongst the professionals such as lawyers, managers at the big end of town and the like. Thousands of addicts are engaged everyday in the battle against heroin addiction. Thankfully, the governments methadone clinics around the country are helping, giving many an opportunity to stop using this dangerous drug, however, owing to the lack of clinics many still do not have access to the help they provide yet others are abusing this help by replacing their addiction to heroin with an addiction to methadone.
