1. Welcome

AT&T Navigator v2.0 utilizes the integration of GPS position determination technology, the Java™ programming
environment, and access to your wireless carrier’s data network. Supported Research in Motion BlackBerry devices
provide both the Java environment and access to the wireless network. The AT&T Navigator application provides:

 GPS navigation that punctually guides you turn-by-turn to any destination address in the United
States. If you miss a turn or get off-track, AT&T Navigator will calculate a new route for you.

 Navigation features such as Lane Assist to help you determine which lane(s) to be in at a multi-lane
highway junction or an intersection. View traffic camera locations on your navigation map, as well as
the legal speed limit.

 Audio and visual traffic alerts while driving or viewing maps, as well as traffic rerouting capabilities to
minimize delays on your trip.

 Enter one or more destination addresses by keying or speaking directly into the device, entering them
on the AT&T Navigator website, or by pulling your contacts from the BlackBerry Address Book.
Optionally, you can input a remote origin and receive Driving Directions from that origin address to the
selected destination address.

 A Search (Directory) feature that allows you to find businesses or points of interest near your current
location, around a favorite, around an entered address, or around an airport. You can call the business
first to check availability of an item or get a reservation and then navigate to it. You can also save the
address for use later in the day.

 Points-of-Interest search result ads that offer merchant review, deals, and restaurant menus (depends
on availability).

 Maps of the area around your current location, a marked favorite, or an address you enter manually or
have previously entered. You can pan the map (adjust left/right/up/down), and zoom in or out. Maps
and points-of-interest are frequently updated for accuracy, at no additional charge to you.

 The ability to set up alerts for your daily commute and view any traffic incidents on the map of the
route.

 The ability to set Daytime or Nighttime colors for your map or navigation screens. You can also set this
to “Auto” for automatic color adjustment throughout the day.

 A Movies feature to search for movies based on location or theaters.

 A Weather feature to view current weather conditions, as well as a 7-day forecast, for a location that
you choose.

 The ability to personalize the application by selecting the use of U.S. customary or metric distance
units, the language for audible guidance, the volume and map colors, etc.

 Diagnostic Tools for self-troubleshooting.

AT&T Navigator’s servers support these enhanced services via the carrier’s data network.

2. Safety and Legal Notices

Please read this section carefully before using AT&T Navigator

AT&T and TeleNav will not accept any responsibility whatsoever for accidents resulting from failure to observe
common sense precautions. Your personal judgment, traffic regulations, and common sense must always take
precedence over any driving direction produced by AT&T Navigator.

WARNING: Keep your eyes on the road.

It is your responsibility as the vehicle operator to keep your eyes on the road and be an alert driver at all times,
ESPECIALLY when the vehicle is moving. The vehicle operator should not be distracted by the application
displays, audible cues, or manually interacting with the controls. When you need to enter data on your device using
the keypad or study the display, please do so while the vehicle is parked, not while in motion. Should your ability to
drive responsibly be decreased, please turn off the device.

WARNING: Install the equipment safely.

If you are using a device mounting kit, make sure that it does not obscure your vision. You may wish to charge the
device while using AT&T Navigator. If so, make sure the charging cable does not interfere with any of the vehicle
controls.

WARNING: Drive safely and use common sense.

The vehicle operator’s personal judgment, traffic regulations, and common sense must always take precedence
over the instructions provided by AT&T Navigator.

It is your responsibility as the vehicle operator to drive safely, observe all traffic rules, and above all use your own
personal judgment while driving. If you feel that a route suggested by the navigation software instructs you to
perform an unsafe or illegal maneuver, places you in an unsafe situation, or routes you into an area which you
consider unsafe, do not follow the instructions.

3. Data Service Options

The AT&T Navigator application that you install on your device requires a means of accessing the public Internet,
which is typically provided by your carrier’s data network.

The AT&T Navigator application communicates with the AT&T Navigator servers to get routing, maps, and points of
interest via your carrier’s data network. You do not need to purchase additional data services if you already have a
data or email services plan for your device. However, if you do not already have a data or email services plan, you
must order one from AT&T so you can use the AT&T Navigator application.

Clicking the Menu key or the trackball while using the AT&T Navigator application may give you a variety of
options, depending on what screen you are on. The options are discussed in the appropriate sections below. There
is usually an option for Help and one to take you back to AT&T Navigator Home to reduce the number of times you
would have to press the Escape key.

5. Getting Started with AT&T Navigator

The TeleNav GPS Navigator application that resides within your BlackBerry requires a TeleNav subscription and
means of accessing the public Internet.

Software Installation
There are two ways to install TeleNav on your device over the wireless network 1 . The AT&T Navigator application
comes pre-loaded on your BlackBerry, but you can also use the Browser method for download.

NOTE: Once the application finishes installing, you will need to reboot your device.

Virtual-Preload Method

1. From the BlackBerry Main Menu, select the “Get AT&T

Navigator” Virtual Preload icon.

2. Follow the on-screen instructions to download the TeleNav

GPS Navigator application.

1
If you are a BES administrator, and want to manage TeleNav distribution using a BES, e-mail to care@telenav.com

Browser Method

TeleNav can be downloaded directly onto your BlackBerry using its Internet Browser.

1. From the BlackBerry Main Menu, launch the BlackBerry Internet

Browser.

2. Input the OTA download link: http://att.telenav.com/nav

3. Click the trackball.

4. Choose Download on the confirmation screen.

5. After the application downloads successfully, click OK.

Network Access
AT&T Navigator uses the public Internet to access its servers for mapping, routing, and search services from your
device. If you are not using your BlackBerry for e-mail services, you will still need to add an individual BlackBerry e-
mail plan to have access to data services. There are three different network settings for you to select from. Wait 90
seconds after turning on your BlackBerry to allow these services options to register. These access methods are
automatically determined by AT&T Navigator when it launches, but you can change the settings from within the
AT&T Navigator Preferences menu.

Tips on Using GPS
In order to get information for navigation, devices are equipped with a GPS receiver that uses signals from satellites
orbiting the earth. If this is your first GPS device, the following tips will help you get started.

 When using GPS, make sure you are outside with a clear view of the sky and no buildings or trees are
in the way.

 Remain stationary to acquire the initial GPS signal before you start your journey.

 The time to acquire the first GPS signal of the day may take up to 2-3 minutes, so please be patient.

 Keeping your device powered on will help make getting subsequent GPS signals much faster during
that same day.

6. AT&T Maps

AT&T Maps is a free application that comes with AT&T Navigator. AT&T
Maps offers you static, turn-by-turn directions, a business finder, and the
ability to upgrade to the full AT&T Navigator application.

1. Click on the “AT&T Maps” icon in the BlackBerry full menu.

2. Your current location is displayed on a map. You can zoom in (I),

7. The Terms of Service screen appears. If you agree to the terms and
conditions, choose Accept to continue.

8. Depending on your device, you may be offered a trial subscription.

On the subscription screen, select your access choice and press the
trackball to continue.
 Monthly Subscription – Unlimited access to the application,
charged monthly to your phone bill.

 Day Pass – Access the application for 24 hours (you will see
the charge for each day’s use on your phone bill).

9. The first time you use the application, you will be given the option to
set up the Side Key, which allows you to conveniently access the
application with a single click. If you would like to set up the side key
later or change your choice of left or right, go to Menu >> Settings >>
Side Key within the application.

10. During your first use of AT&T Navigator, the device will download the
audible and graphical content needed to build the displays and
produce audible messages.

NOTE: Do not interact with the BlackBerry while this download is underway. Wait for it to finish. When the
download is completed, you will see the AT&T Navigator Home Menu.

NOTE: If, after you press the trackball, the AT&T Navigator application indicates that it cannot reach the AT&T
Navigator servers, the most likely reason is that your carrier data service plan is not yet active. You may need to
contact AT&T Customer Service at 1-800-331-0500 (or dial 611 from your handset) to extend your service
agreement. You will not be able to progress beyond this point until your account is returned to current status. You
may also see an important message from AT&T regarding upgrades, scheduled downtime, pending account
expiration, etc.

When the device reaches the AT&T Navigator servers with a valid and active phone number and PIN, the device
will be registered to use AT&T Navigator and will not present any of the above screens except the splash and
Warning screens in the future. Visiting http://www.attnav.com and changing the PIN will require you to repeat the
above registration process.

Set Up Home
This option lets you save a Home address so you can easily select it for
use in the future. Once you have set this up, you can highlight it in the
Drive To screen and press the Menu key to Edit or Delete the address.

My Favorites
Favorite are places that you have saved in the past so you can quickly
access them. Many AT&T Navigator users save their home and work
addresses as a Favorite so they can easily reuse the addresses later.

Your Favorites list can grow to an unlimited length. If your Favorites list
gets very large, it may be easier to use the Find function to find your
desired Favorite. To use the Find function, enter one or more
alphanumeric characters in the Find field. As you type, the closest
match(es) will appear at the top of the list.

Click on a Favorite for navigation directions.

The following options show up in your Favorites folder:

 Create New Favorite – Select an address to mark as a Favorite.

 Sync with Website – Pull in addresses that you saved in the AT&T Navigator website at
http://www.attnav.com.

 Received Addresses – This folder contains addresses that other AT&T Navigator users may have
sent you. You can delete favorites from this category, but the category itself may not be deleted or
renamed. In the Received Addresses folder, highlight any address to see who sent the address to you.
The name and phone number of the person will be displayed.

 Folder Icons – These are the Favorite categories that you have created. These folders contain the
Favorites that you have saved to those categories.

 Heart Icons – These are the individual Favorites that you have saved.

Highlight a Favorite and press the Menu key for the following options.
Options are based on what information is available for a selected address,
so not all of the options below may be present.

 Drive To – Get driving directions.

 Map It – View a map of the Favorite.

 Share Address – Share the address with contacts from your

BlackBerry Address book or by providing recipients’ phone
numbers (choose up to 10 at once).

 Call – Call the business (this option is only available if there is

a phone number listed with the business).

 Edit – Edit the Favorite’s address, label, or category in which

it should be saved (see “Category” on page 21).

 Delete – Delete the Favorite from the list.

NOTE: You can also use the DEL key on the BlackBerry
keyboard.

Category

This option allows you to organize where a location should be stored.

1. In Drive To >> My Favorites, highlight an individual Favorite from the

list.

2. Click Menu and choose Edit. The Edit Favorite screen appears.

3. Highlight the Category field and click the trackball.

4. On the Categories screen, check the category folder in the list to add
the location to the folder. You may select as many categories as you
would like.

5. Click Done. You will be taken back to the Edit Favorite screen. Click
Save to return to the My Favorites screen.

NOTE: You can also use the “Find” function to quickly locate categories if
you have a long list.

Delete or Rename a Category

You can delete or rename a category that you have created in My Favorites (the default “Received Addresses”
category, which stores addresses other users may have shared with you, cannot be deleted or renamed).

1. Choose Drive To >> My Favorites.

2. Highlight the category that you want to rename or delete. Then press
Menu >> Rename or Menu >> Delete.
NOTE: You can also use the DEL key on the BlackBerry keyboard.

3. You have the following delete options:

 Category Only – Delete just the category. All favorites will be
moved out of it and appear on the Favorites screen.

 Category & Favorites – Delete the category and all favorites

in it. This deletes the favorites in this category only. If a
favorite is also saved under a different category, this action
does not delete it there.

 Cancel – Close the pop-up and go back to the My Favorites

screen.

Recent Places
Recent Places are addresses used recently for navigation, directions,
directory searches, or mapping. When an address in the list is used within
AT&T Navigator, it is promoted to the head of the list.

AT&T Navigator automatically saves all of the places that you:

 Chose for navigation.

 Viewed as a map.

 Located using a street address, intersection, or airport.

Your Recent places list can grow to an unlimited length. If you have a large Recent Places list, it may be easier to
use the Find function to find your desired Recent Place. To use the Find function, enter one or more alphanumeric
characters in the Find text box. As you type, the closest match(es) will appear at the top of the list.

the trackball to select a new ending point for the trip.

Edit Route Settings

Highlight the Preferences field on the Trip Confirmation screen and click
the trackball to edit your route style:

 Fastest – This default Route Style finds the fastest driving

route.

 Shortest – This Route Style may or may not take more

time to drive but it shows you the shortest distance.

 Prefer Streets – Use streets instead of highways if possible.

 Prefer Highway – Use highways instead of streets if possible.

 Pedestrian – Find walking directions.

Initial Driving Directions
Within a few seconds of selecting a Drive To location, AT&T Navigator
calculates what it believes to be an optimal route to your destination and
tells you how to start your trip.

If you are not moving, AT&T Navigator may not know your direction of
travel, so the first few driving directions may be incorrect since AT&T
Navigator may initially make an incorrect assumption. However, once
you start moving, AT&T Navigator learns your direction of travel and
provides an updated set of driving directions.

TIP: Click the Space key at any time on the navigation screen to replay
the audio.

For more information about navigation views, see page 29.

Moving to the Nearest Street

If you are not directly on a street, for example you are in a large parking lot or driveway, you will see a screen that
shows AT&T Navigator’s best estimate of where you are with guidance on how to move to the first street.

Audible Guidance Tones

AT&T Navigator delivers spoken audible directions as you drive. A preparatory audible tone is typically heard no
less than 30 seconds before reaching a turn, and an action audible tone is typically heard no less than 10 seconds
before reaching a turn. The preparatory audible tone may not be sounded if the distance to the next turn only allows
time for the action tone.

The lead times for the audible guidance tones are increased proportionally to your driving speed. This allows more
time for changing lanes before a turn if you are driving at highway speeds as opposed to driving more slowly on
local streets. A Preference setting determines whether street names are included in the messages or not. Enabling
street names increases packet data usage.

NOTE: If you are using a Bluetooth headset, be sure to click the “$” (Speaker) key on the device while in navigation
mode so that you will be able to hear the audio prompts.

Audio Replay
If you wish to hear an updated informational message for the current route segment, simply press the Space key.

Miss a Turn?
Whenever you miss a turn, turn the wrong way, turn too early or too late, or otherwise get off the planned route to
your destination, the AT&T Navigator automatically creates a new route to your desired destination, audibly
announce, “Rerouting,” and give you a new set of instructions.

If you realize you have missed a turn or have otherwise gotten off the route, just keeping driving. AT&T Navigator
detects your current location and recalculates a new set of driving directions to get you back on track.

It may take approximately 15 to 30 seconds for AT&T Navigator to update your route. If during this process you
make additional deviations from your current route, AT&T Navigator may have to contact its servers for another
new route.

© TELENAV, INC. 2003-2010 PAGE 28 OF 68

Since AT&T Navigator requires access your carrier’s network, if you are off route and outside of the carrier’s
coverage area, you must return to your carrier’s coverage area in order for AT&T Navigator to recalculate your
route.

Navigation Views
The default navigation view is 3D moving maps, but you may wish to use the 2D Map or Turn Icon view instead.
You can change the default navigation view in Menu >> Settings >> Navigation >> Map Style (see page 58 for

frequently given higher star ratings. By default, results are sorted
by the number of points they have received (popularity).
Popularity is calculated by the user-generated ratings, averaged by
considering the scores of the ratings and the number of users that have
rated the location. A location accrues points based on how many stars it
is given by AT&T Navigator users. When a location consistently
achieves above-average ratings, its popularity count increases. Negative
ratings lower the popularity count of the location.

See “Ratings” on Page 47 for more information.

NOTE: If you click on the “Rate This” option for a location that you have
already rated, the original rating is displayed by default. If you submit a
modified rating, the old rating is excluded from the average and
replaced with the new rating, and the number of reviews remains the
same.

17. Suspending AT&T Navigator

Making a Phone Call from AT&T Navigator

You can Call In to a location that you have found in a Search such as
a restaurant, a hotel, or a store.

Taking an Incoming Call

When you are using AT&T Navigator and your device receives an
incoming call, your phone rings and displays a screen that gives you
the option to Answer the call or Ignore the call.

If you ignore the call, AT&T Navigator resumes and continues with
the function that you were using before the call came in.

If you answer the call during a navigation session, you can click back
to the Navigation screen while still on the call. An icon will indicate the
call duration at the top of the navigation screen. When the call is
completed, press the red End Call key .

If you have set your Navigation Audio preferences in Menu >> Settings to “Suspend Audio Guidance” during a
phone call, you will not hear any navigation prompts during the phone call, but the prompts will be resumed after
you hang up. To hear navigation prompts while on a call, change this option to “Play Audio Guidance.”

NOTE: When AT&T Navigator briefly uses the data network, incoming calls may be blocked. When you are on an
incoming call, AT&T Navigator is still running and will periodically collect a GPS fix from the internal GPS receiver.
When this fix is taken, there may be a very brief loss of intelligibility on the received audio from the caller.

Calendar and E-mail Events
When a scheduled calendar event occurs, or an e-mail message
arrives while you are using AT&T Navigator, a pop-up notification will
appear similar to that shown on the right. You can interact with the
Calendar or e-mail event by Opening it, or you can Dismiss it. If you
Open the application associated with the notification, AT&T Navigator
will be suspended while you are interacting with the other application,
but it will still be navigating. However, if you get off route, AT&T
Navigator will not be able to recover until you leave the other
application. AT&T Navigator does not use the network while it is
suspended.

AT&T Navigator Options from BlackBerry Address Book

You can interact with AT&T Navigator from your BlackBerry Address
Book. While viewing your Contacts list, click Menu. When you make
a selection, AT&T Navigator will launch and take you to the
appropriate menu.

 Drive To – Launch navigation in AT&T Navigator to get

driving directions to your contact.

 Search Nearby – Launch Search to find businesses

around the Contact’s address.

 Map It – Plot the Contact’s address on a map.

 Share Address – Share the Contact’s address with other Contacts from your BlackBerry Address
Book or from recipients whose phone numbers you provide.

Interruption of Other Services

Whenever AT&T Navigator needs to contact its servers (such as when generating a route), it uses your carrier’s
data service, and other services such as SMS messaging and conventional cellular calls are not available.
Typically, this interruption of other services lasts no more than 20 seconds.

When incoming calls are blocked due to AT&T Navigator’s use of your carrier’s data network, phone calls go to
your voice mail if you have a voice mail service available.

Switching Between Applications

Press the ALT key and the ESCape button concurrently to launch the BlackBerry application switcher. This will
allow you to leave AT&T Navigator running in suspended mode while looking at your e-mail, or using another
application. When you use the switcher to return to AT&T Navigator, it will move to the foreground and resume
operation. If while another application was in the foreground you have left the navigation route, AT&T Navigator will
say “Rerouting” and obtain a new route for you.

22. Error Conditions

Account cancelled

Your AT&T Navigator account has been cancelled. Contact AT&T Customer Support at 1-800-331-0500 (or dial
611 from your handset).

Account not found

You do not have a valid AT&T Navigator account. Contact AT&T Customer Support at 1-800-331-0500 (or dial 611
from your handset).

GPS signal weak, Cannot get GPS signal, or No GPS data

Move to an area where your device has a clearer view of the sky and can still connect with your device. Please
note that some car windshields that have heat-reflective coatings may reduce the quality of the GPS signal. Your
device should announce when you have adequate GPS signal again.

Invalid login

Your account number is your 10-digit mobile phone number beginning with area code. Your PIN is a 4-digit
number. Your PIN can be accessed from the Contact option in the AT&T Navigator Tools/Extras menu.

If for some reason you cannot access your PIN, contact AT&T Customer Support at 1-800-331-0500 (or dial 611
from your handset).

Low battery

The GPS will not work if the device’s battery charge level is below about 15%. Starting with a freshly charged
standard battery, we have used AT&T Navigator for around 4 hours before it became necessary to connect the
charging cable. If you get a low battery warning, connect a charging cable as soon as possible. In some cases, you
may need to wait a while for the battery to become sufficiently charged so that the GPS receiver will work.

Network signal weak

If the carrier network signal is weak, move to an area where reception is better and try the function that requires
network access again.

AT&T Navigator encountered an error

AT&T Navigator is having technical problems with the specific request that you made. This can be due to an
address that it cannot find, or mapping data that does not allow routing from where you are to where you want to
go. In this case, try to use a nearby address.

AT&T Navigator not available

If you get an advisory message that AT&T Navigator is not available, exit the application and then re-launch it. If the
problem recurs, it may be due to a temporary server outage.

Unable to generate a route

AT&T Navigator could not generate a route between the two endpoints of the route. This may be a temporary error
if you have a weak GPS signal when establishing the origin, but may be due to errors in the map data in the area
around the destination.

Unable to login

Someone may be fraudulently using your account. You will need to change your PIN (see page 63) and attempt to
log in again.

Unable to reach AT&T Navigator server

You may see this message for several different reasons: a) your data plan is not active, b) your WIX services are
not enabled, c) you are outside of coverage, d) the data network is currently experiencing difficulties, or
e) the AT&T Navigator server is not acknowledging your device’s attempt to communicate.
Call AT&T Navigator Customer Support at 1-800-331-0500 (or dial 611 from your handset).

© TELENAV, INC. 2003-2010 PAGE 65 OF 68

Your account has expired

You do not have a valid AT&T Navigator or AT&T Navigator Global Edition account. Order AT&T Navigator or
AT&T Navigator Global Edition by calling AT&T Navigator Customer Support at 1-800-331-0500 (or dial 611 from
your handset).

During the installation process, what happens if I get a “Cannot connect to server” message?

If you see the above error during the installation and login process, most likely your BlackBerry needs to be
configured to allow the TeleNav GPS Navigator application to use the data network. Please follow these simple
steps from the BlackBerry home screen:

1. Go to Settings.

2. Select Options.

3. Select Advanced Options.

4. Select Applications.

5. Once the applications list has been populated, highlight AT&T Navigator and press the BlackBerry
Menu button.

6. Set the application settings for “Connections”, “Interactions” and “User Data” to “Allow” and save
your changes.

23. FAQs

Why do I need the carrier’s data service?

The data plan allows you to access nationwide routes, maps, and Directory content from the AT&T Navigator
servers using the data communication features of your device. These services are different from your cellular
airtime. To order a data plan from AT&T, please contact their customer support directly:

AT&T: 1-800-331-0500 (select option #1)

How long after I apply for the data service until I can use my AT&T Navigator application?

Generally, it takes until the following business morning before the data services are fully provisioned. If you already
have data services, it should be no more than 4 hours before an added AT&T Navigator plan is active.

Does AT&T Navigator use up my voice plan minutes?

AT&T Navigator uses data to provide its navigation functions. Using data does not use any of your voice minutes.
However, the Call It feature within the AT&T Navigator application that allows you to make calls to businesses does
use voice minutes.

How do I increase or decrease the voice prompt volume and control the backlighting?

Speaker volume can be controlled with the volume buttons on the right-hand side of the device. If the speaker
volume is set to at least mid-range and you are still not receiving audio prompts, verify that your device profile is not
set to vibrate or quiet. To change your profile settings, highlight the Profiles icon on the BlackBerry Main Menu (it
looks like a loudspeaker) and press the trackball.

© TELENAV, INC. 2003-2010 PAGE 66 OF 68

Backlighting can be controlled from Menu >> Settings >> Navigation >> Backlight (choose On, Off, or On at Turns).
The longer your backlight remains on, the faster battery life will be consumed.

Why don’t I hear audio navigation prompts when I am using a Bluetooth headset?

If you are using a Bluetooth headset, be sure to click the “$” (Speaker) key on the device while in navigation mode
so that you will be able to hear the audio prompts. A Bluetooth symbol will be shown in the upper-left corner of the
screen if you have redirected the audio through a Bluetooth headset.

How accurate is the GPS?

GPS accuracy can range from 20m (approx. 65 ft) to 100m (approx. 328 ft). Most of the time, the GPS is accurate
to less than 50 meters (approx. 164 ft).

What is the ideal GPS environment?

The GPS requires an open, clear view of the sky. Buildings, covered parking areas, tunnels, and dense foliage can
cause the GPS receiver to be unable to locate a GPS satellite or may cause extended initialization time (time to first
GPS fix).

If you are parked in a covered parking lot or near a tall building, it is recommended that you move into an open area
and then begin to use the AT&T Navigator service.

Why does the GPS not work near buildings and other tall objects?

The GPS uses signals from satellites so it needs a clear view of the sky. Tall buildings and other objects that block
the GPS receiver’s view to the sky may make it impossible to determine your location. Sometimes the satellites are
not overhead but near the horizon; in these cases, the GPS receiver in your device must have a clear view of the
horizon.

How do I know that the GPS has a signal?

The AT&T Navigator application on your device alerts you if you do not have a valid GPS signal. If this happens,
move to an area where there is a clear view of the sky so the receiver can hear the GPS signals from space.

What happens if I’m using AT&T Navigator for driving directions and I lose the GPS signal while driving
across a bridge or through a tunnel or lose the GPS signal for some other reason?

AT&T Navigator remembers the speed at which you were driving before losing the GPS signal. AT&T Navigator
continues to give you driving directions based on an estimate of the projected distance that you may have traveled
at your last recorded rate of speed. AT&T Navigator recalculates your current position when you regain a GPS
signal and adjusts your driving directions accordingly.

I noticed there are stars next to some restaurants I have viewed or saved. How is popularity rated?

Popularity is calculated by the user-generated ratings, averaged by considering the scores of the ratings and the
number of users that have rated the location. A location accrues points based on how many stars it is given by
AT&T Navigator users. When a location consistently achieves above-average ratings, its popularity count
increases. Negative ratings lower the popularity count of the location.

How long are ratings kept?

Ratings and reviews expire after two years.
