Dated : 12-10-2010 PRESS RELEASE The employees of Doordarshan and All India Radio, Hyderabad have conducted a Meeting at Doordarshan Kendra, Rmanthapur, Hyderabad today i.e on 12-10-2010 at 11-00 AM demanding Corporation (Prasar Bharati) Scales. Aakashwani and Doordarshan Administrative Staff Association(ADASA), Group “D" Union, Doordarshan Drivers Association, Cameraman Welfare Association, Stenographers Association, Doordarshan Floor Staff and DD Editors Associations, DD Painters and Carpenters Associations have participated in the meeting. The members have criticized that some Associations, who were granted Prasar Bharati Scales are creating hurdles in getting Prasar Bharati Scales to other cadres of employees. The leaders of the Associations have warned the members not to fall prey to the cunning words of others, who state that the future of “Prasar Bharati" is in doldrums.
