CIA IG Jan - June 2003

The Central Intelligence Agency Office of Inspector General was established by Congress under a statute in 1989. As part of that statute, the CIA IG, like other Inspectors General and like other Intelligence Community Inspectors General, was obliged to supply Congress with semi-annual reports of the functioning of the IG. Unfortunately, it appears that the CIA IG has never released any portions of any IG semiannual reports since their inception nearly 17 years ago. Until now. However, POGO was given almost entirely redacted CIA IG semiannual reports.
