PRAYER BULLETIN, Dear Preyer Partners, ‘No wonder the Pealmist said, "Happy is the man whom Thou choosest and causest to approach unto Thee" (Ps 65.4); for as he seid in another Pealm (Ps 16) “In His presence there is fulness of joy and at Hie right hand pleasures for ever more". Do you find prayer-time a delight? It certainly should be, and it can be, if we follow St Paul's advice to "stir up the Gift of Ged which is in thee’ We stir up the gift by thanksgiving and praise. Let your heart move out to Him in love and adoration, and you will prove Janes’ word chapt 4.8) that if you "draw nigh to God, He will draw nigh to you". ‘very Christian should exercise the life-changing practise of beginning each day with God. Iife at its best is very brief. Every day is precious - but it can only be lived at ite best and fullest if it is begun with a Royal Audience! King Jesus will anoint us "with fresh oil"; infuse divine strength, inspire with faith and hope; set the joybells ringing in our hearts. Then we go out to face the day victoriously, face aglow, bright of eye, spring in the step, with a fresh grip on God and He on us ~ and thie is going to be the best day we have ever lived! ‘Last week we spoke of "delighting ourselves in the Lord. I hope you have beon doing that. It is LIFS-cHANGING! It opens H eaven's sluice gates of blessing when we think about Hin; of His goodness; counting His blessings, thanking and praising iim! living in His presence changes our attitude toward life. We begin delighting in everything good! Read Phil 4.8. How wonderful to ENJOY BVERYTHING - our fanily, home, work, zriends, Church. How beautiful to love everybody - sincerely, honestly; look> ing for their good points; esteening then; sympathetic, appreciative, commending then where ever we can; courtedus, considerate. Will Rogers once said, "I never met a man I didn't like", The Lord wants us to be happy - for "the joy of the Lord is our strength" (Neh 8.10). But remember ~ IT ALL STARTS IN THE THRONE ROOM!
