The Hidden Job Report gives advance notification of employment opportunities before a job description
can be written. We do this by sharing major hiring announcements that take place predominantly in the
United States, but also all over the world.

On the pages that follow, you will read blurbs from press releases and news articles. At the beginning of
each notification is the location of where the jobs will be, the company that is doing the hiring and how
many positions they are hiring for. At the end of each snippet is a web link where someone can go for more
details. As these opportunities are based on future projections, the actual job count may vary slightly.

It is suggested that job seekers do all of the following:

(a) Send a resume into the company doing the hiring via their Careers page.
(b) Research social networks (like Linkedin) to connect with recruiters inside of the company and get on
their radar now. Who knows? They may be able to save money by not posting a certain job and hiring
you directly.
(c) Network with employees inside of the company that is hiring. Why? Chances are a company has an
employee referral program. If you can convince an employee of your credentials and you get hired,
then they get paid. If you are not hired, that employee loses nothing. (wink)

UK | Price Waterhouse Coopers: 800 Jobs
Pricewaterhouse Coopers UK (PwC) has
announced the creation of 800 new jobs,
including some in IT.

USA | Dun & Bradstreet: 50 Jobs
(USA) Some 50 new jobs are to be created
by Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), the company
has announced. In February, the IT firm
had announced that 100 new positions
would be advertised over the year, but its
announcement today (October 4th) will
bring the total jobs generated by the com-
pany to 150 by the end of December.

(SC) A company that manufactures parts
for engines and gas turbines used in aero-
nautics and other industries is bringing 25
new, highly-skilled jobs to York County and
hopes to add 100 more in the future.

UK | Bestway: 60 Jobs
CASH and carry group Bestway will create
60 new jobs when it opens a new store
this Friday in a £7m development in
Aintree. The Heysham Road site will be the
33rd branch for the UK’s largest independ-
ent wholesaler, which has had a presence
in Liverpool since 1994.

nical employees in China to defend a shrinking
market share against local rivals after closing
its Chinese search engine six months ago this

MEXICO | Grupo Mexicana: 500 Jobs
Mexico's Communications and Transportation
Department has awarded Grupo Mexicana a
concession to operate a new domestic airline.
The department and Grupo Mexicana say in a
joint statement that the new airline will start
operations on March 15 and be called Mexi-
cana Inter. It will start with a fleet of 13 Bom-
bardier CRJ200 planes with a 50-passenger
capacity each. Grupo Mexicana director
Manuel Borja said Wednesday the company
which he said will create 500 new jobs.

UK | EADS: 600 Jobs
Airbus parent EADS landed its second big gov-
ernment order in as many months...Payment
for the project will start when the first plane is
delivered. Ann Taylor, the defense minister
responsible for procurement, added that the
project will create 600 new jobs.

GLOBAL | European Union: 80,000 Jobs
By this time next year, passengers might by
able to fly British Airways between Philadelphia
and Madrid or on German carrier Lufthansa
between London and Chicago. That's comes
after European Union officials "agreed today to
scrap most restrictions on transatlantic flights,
holding out the prospect of cheaper fares and a
bigger choice of airlines for passengers flying
between the USA and Europe," USA TODAY re-
ports...The European Commission estimates
the deal will save passengers $15.9 billion in
savings thanks to increased competition. It also
estimates that the demand, likely to be spurred
from the relaxed rules, will create 80,000 new
jobs.

USA | PreCheck, Inc: 250 Jobs
(NM) A Houston firm that does credential and
background checks for health care providers
will be moving its corporate operations head-
quarters to Alamogordo. Gov. Bill Richardson
made the announcement Thursday, saying Pre-
Check Inc.'s relocation is expected to create
more than 250 jobs over the next couple of
years. The company already has a backup op-
erations center in Alamogordo that employs
more than 40 people.

100 Jobs
(CA) Electronic Recyclers International,
which bills itself as one of the nation’s larg-
est recyclers of electronic waste, says it will
hire 100 new employees in the next 100
days to help it meet its expansion plans.

USA | Nagarro: 2,000 Jobs
(CA) Nagarro, Inc., a high-end software de-
velopment firm for complex markets, today
announced that it plans to hire up to 2,000
new employees over the next three years.
Nagarro, which has continually increased its
headcount year over year, including
throughout the recent recession, predicts a
rise in staffing levels based on the growing
demand for its outsourced software devel-
opment services.

(KY) The company is hiring a total of 150
permanent full and part-time employees to
provide technical support for a client in the
entertainment industry. In addition, Con-
vergys will hire another 100 full and part-
tomer service support for a health care in-

USA | Tyson: 165 Jobs
(NC) Tyson Foods Inc. announced on Wednes-
day it is expanding its poultry complex in
Wilkesboro and will add 165 new jobs, accord-
ing to a press release from the company. The
job additions means Tyson will now employ
over 2,500 people in Wilkes County.

USA | Comforce: 175 Jobs
(FL) Canadian-based Conforce International
Inc., a manufacturer of composite flooring sys-
tems for the transportation industry, plans to
locate an Indiana plant in Peru and create up to
175 jobs by 2013. The company said on
Wednesday that it also plans to invest more
than $13.8 million to purchase and equip the
155,000-square-foot facility, which would be
the company’s first location in the United
States. Peru is in Miami County and north of
Kokomo. Conforce plans to begin hiring em-
ployees and supervisors in the first quarter of
2011.

USA | General Electric: 500 Jobs
(KY) General Electric continued to reinvent its
appliance business Monday, announcing a plan
to invest about $430 million to build energy-
efficient refrigerators at Louisville's Appliance
Park and three other U.S. plants. The plan will
create 300 jobs at Appliance Park by 2014. It
also guarantees the survival of a refrigerator
plant in Bloomington, Ind., adding 200 jobs
there. And the investment saves more than
1,000 jobs at plants in Selmer, Tenn., and Deca-
tur, Ala.

USA | Optimo: 30 Jobs
(PA) A Bloomsburg-based information
technology company will expand its opera-
tions into downtown Wilkes-Barre and cre-
ate 30 high-paying jobs. OPTiMO Informa-
tion Technology will open an office in
more than 5,000 square feet of space on
South Main Street, marking the 16th ten-
ant in the building. Jobs will pay $60,000
to $80,000 a year, said OPTiMO CEO Mike
Miguelez.

vesting up to $8 billion in microchip manu-
facturing plants that could create up to
1,000 permanent high-tech jobs in Arizona
and Oregon.

USA | Saertex: 178 Jobs
(NC) Governor Bev Perdue today an-
nounced that SAERTEX USA LLC, a manu-
facturer of technical fabrics for lightweight
composite structures for the green energy
sector, will expand its current facility in
Mecklenburg County. The company plans
to create 178 jobs and invest $6.5 million
over the next three years in Huntersville.
The project was made possible in part by a
$110,000 grant from the One North Caro-
lina Fund.

U.S. Solar Jobs: 93,000 And Growing Fast

Some 93,000 people were employed in the solar industry in the United States as of August,
according to a count by the Solar Foundation, a nonprofit education and research organiza-
tion. And, remarkably, given the plodding national economy, solar employers expect to boost
that number by 24,000 in the next year alone – a staggering 26 percent increase.

What’s making the difference? According to U.S. Labor Secretary Hilda Solis, the government’s
focus on solar power has a lot to do with it. “Among other things, this study shows that invest-
ments made through the Recovery Act — including the $2.3 billion in tax credits to U.S. based
clean energy manufacturing — are already generating positive results,” Solis said in a Solar
Foundation press release.
