Deployment
• A wing must be fully deployed within 84 hours
• DSOE’s are issued throughout the deployment
process and Airmen are processing
throughout the wing concurrently.
• Timing is imperative
– Mobility Lines must be completed on a stringent
schedule to ensure airlift departs ontime

Our Deployment Process

• A normal wing has 84 hours to deploy
– We will attempt to deploy our wing within 84
minutes
– Everyone must follow staff orders quickly and
urgently for us to be able to deploy on schedule.
– Flights are to move in a quick and orderly fashion.
• Marching not needed, time is of the essence

The Mobility Line

• The mobility line will be conducted in the armory
– Process through in a single file line
– Collect each item
– Final process with an equipment check
• You will be accountable for all equipment issued to you
• After processing your flight will be sanitized from
the other flights to ensure proper accountability
– You may eat your lunch in your sanitation room

SAFETY
• KNOCK IT OFF
– If at any point you sense that you or an other party is in danger of
being harmed, call
“KNOCK IT OFF”
• Treat weapons as loaded weapons
– Do not point weapons at anything without the intent to shoot
– If civilians are present lower weapon and acknowledge
• Stay warm and dry
– You will get wet, be sure to dry off every opportunity
– Hypothermia can set in even in 70 degree weather
• Use your flashlights during night operations to avoid wildlife

• You will have a wingman AT ALL TIMES

• There is no driving allowed once the exercise
begins
• If a POC asks you to drive, question it
• An emergency is the only circumstance that

Tick Checks
• Before bed, complete tick checks on yourself and
wingman of the same sex
• Look in crevices such as, armpits, behind knees, groin
area.
• Look anywhere ticks could hide – hair, etc.
• If there is a tick on you and we don’t take care of it you
could get Lyme disease
• This is IMPORTANT!
• If you find a tick that is embedded, find me and it can be
taken care of

– Bandaids, etc.

• Have them call me on the emergency channel
• I will have a cell phone and am trained as a first
responder
• The situation will be assessed and proper action
will be taken
