CREATING THE FUSELAGE

Fuselage nets (2X)
We’ll start making by making the
fuselage first; it is the easiest part toassemble, and you can gain some goodskills in handling paper whilst assembling it.

ScissorsBegin by cutting out the white edgeson the outside of the nets (the whitestripes on the paper edges). In the endyou get two clean nets like below.

Fuselage net (1X)Putting the net upside down andstarting from the corner of paperopposite of the corner of the net, begin
by rolling a tube of approximately ≈1cm
in diameter. Aim for the front of the tubeto be slightly wider (thicker in diameter)than the back (where the tail will beattached).

GlueGlue the extruding corner from the
tube to the tube’s body so that you
secure the shape.

Creating the Wings

Scissors

Wings nets (2X)Cut out the wing netsalong with the tabs onthem (the rectangles onthe bottom of the net, thebigger ones are the tabs, the smaller are thespaces between themthat you must cut out).In the end you should get wing nets like the one onthe right.

Second fuselagenet Again curl the paper net into a tubelike before, except now insert one endinto the front of the previous tube youmade. Make sure the diameters of bothtubes are more or less equal at thejunction of the two tubes and hence gluethe tip of the paper from the second tube
to the second tube’s body, securing its
shape.

Fuselage tubes(2X)Glue the two tubes to each other, forming a single fuselage.

Scissors

GlueAs per the image on the right, bendthe two ends like so and glue theopposing insides of the bend together;then cut away everything that leftoverpaper.
