Fruit of the Spirit
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23.The verses above are called the “fruit of the spirit.” Paul, the author of the book of Galatians, is referring to the Holy Spirit.Father (God) - He created everything including you.Son (Jesus) - God sent him to be your Savior.Holy Spirit – Jesus sends him to live in those who believe. When Jesus was baptized by John the Holy Spirit descended like a dove. Read Matthew3:16. Jesus tells his disciples to wait for the Holy Spirit in Acts 1:4-8. After Jesus left theearth, the Holy Spirit lived in them and guided them while Jesus was in heaven. He, theHoly Spirit, comes to everyone who asks for salvation through Jesus Christ. When we al-low the Holy Spirit to guide us, our character will be filled with the “fruit of the spirit.”
