    STOP THE VIOLENCE

    The Greensboro Police Department is here because an act of violence has


    occurred in our community. On October 23, 2010 at approximately 8:39 PM,
    Greensboro Police responded to 205 Guerrant Street to a report of an unconscious
    person. Upon arrival, two deceased subjects were located in the residence.

    The victims, Marquis Steens, 31 year old male, and Malique Steens,
    7 year old male, both died of gunshot wounds.

    If you have any information concerning this crime please do not hesitate to call the
    Police. If you do not wish to speak directly with the Police, please call CRIME
    STOPPERS at (336) 373-1000. If you can supply information that leads to the
    arrest or indictment of the person or persons responsible for committing this crime,
    you can receive up to $2,000.00 dollars. You will remain anonymous. Please call
    CRIME STOPPERS if you have any questions. You may also contact the
