Made using the fir cone
lace pattern.

Finished size: 28 inch

Yarn: Berroco Blackstone


Tweed Chunky (65% wool, 25%
superkid mohair, 10% angora)
60 yards, color 6601 Clover
Honey– 2 balls

Needle: One 16” circular needle size - US 11

Notions: Stitch marker and tapestry needle

Gauge: 11 stitches/14 rows = 4 inches

Pattern: Using size US 11 circular needle CO 84 sts. Join in the


round. Place marker (pm) to mark beginning of round.

1: * k5, p7, rep from * to end


2: (and all even rows) k
3: * k2, yo, k1, yo, k2, p2, p3tog, p2, rep from * to end
5: * k2, yo, k3, yo, k2, p1, p3tog, p1, rep from * to end
7: * k2, yo, k5, yo, k2, p3tog, rep from * to end
9: p3, * k5, p7, repeat from * until 9 sts remain, k5, p4

At the beginning of row 11 slip the first stitch of the round purl wise
(s1p) onto the right hand needle while moving the stitch marker (mm)
one stitch to the left to change the beginning of the round. (This
stitch will be worked at the end of the round.) This will be done at the
beginning of odd rows 11 – 15, and 19 – 23, and 27 - 31.
11: s1p mm * p2, k2, yo, k1, yo, k2, p2, p3tog, rep from * to end
13: s1p mm * p1, k2, yo, k3, yo, k2, p1, p3tog, rep from * to end
15: s1p mm * k2, yo, k5, yo, k2, p3tog, rep from * to end
17 – 32: rep rows 9 – 16 two more times fro a total of 32 rounds

BO loosely. Weave in ends with tapestry needle.
