Survey container gate-in

Procedure in checking empty container when Gate-In

& In Yard Container & safety in working

1. Checking on every
container outside panel
condition if there are any
damage
condition found including
undercarriage that is:-
- Dent/Collapse
-
Broken/
Hole
- Twist
or Bent
- Whether all container
accessory are properly fixed or
missing or not.
- If any rusty on the container
panel found, need to hammer
by using
tri-angle hammer to check
whether there is any hole or
not.
- To check & ensure that there
are no any strange material
being patching with any part
of the container.

2. Surveyor who check on the

container roof condition must
responsible for
following points:-
- Any broken or
hole on the roof
or not.
- Any dent,
collapse, swell
out or not.
- If any rusty on the container
roof, need to hammer by using
tri-angle hammer to check
whether there is any hole or
 not.
- To check if there is any crack
or dent/collapse of the container
beam or not. - To check &
ensure that there are no any
strange material being patching
with any part of the container.
3. To check on the inside container
condition as per below details:-
- Whether any damage to the
panel & floor or not e.g. nail,
hole, sticky glue, looseness, etc.
- Any light leak into the container or not.
- If there is any water or rusty
stain on the roof, must check
whether there is any hole or
not.
- Degree of dirtiness & method of
cleaning by what means.
- To check & ensure that there
are no any strange material
being patching with any part of
the container.
4. Need to close the door for
checking on any light leak every
time. Also, to check if every
accessory of the door if any
damage incurred like: twist,
bent, tear, torn. which will affect
to close-open of the door or not.

5. If it is the damage container, fix

the yellow sticker on the door
together with stating following
details on it:-
- Details of the
container
damage. -
Date of Gate-
In into yard.
- Stipulated on the grade of
container together with the
cleaning criteria in front of the
container door.
6. Efficiency & Safety in work.
- To motivate on the safety
consciousness to every staff in
every morning before work
(Morning Talk).
- To dress in a safety & neatly during
working.
- To strictly perform according to the
company's rule & Yard's rule.
