BC public Service. We appreciate the due diligence that you are exercising to ensure that you ful your
obligations as a public servant.
| understand that you have accepted a position with EOG Resources as Manager, Health, Safely and
Environment and itis understood that you had previous contact with this company in your role as the
‘ADM Oil and Gas, etc. In reviewing this matter with your Deputy Minister, the Deputy Minister to the
Premier and | have concluded that the dealings that you had with this company were not substantive
enough to have resulted in a competitive advantage for this organization and therefore, accepting this
position Is not a violation of the restrictions.
[As you move out of government, all other provisions of the restrictions remain in effect.
