A murderer?

Anna chuckled at the thought that she, a college educated woman with a respectable background, who worked at a library, was a murderer. Why, she helped with the collection plate at church every Sunday!

But what if they were caught? What would become of the android? Could she blame him? Make him out to be the murderer, she the unwilling accomplice? She doubted it. Androids, even ones as antiquated as Andros, were forbidden to do any harm to humans.

She reasoned that even if an android did kill someone, it would not be of his or her own accord. It would be the negligence of the owner or purposeful programming, for an android to kill someone.

She shrugged the idea away.

There would be no escape if she were caught.

Therefore, the rule was not to be caught.

Roll of the Dice
 By Bethany J. Royer
“My god, I killed him!”Anna circled the body of the library director. His enormous frame filled the aisle.
I have to get rid of him.
Her eyes swept to the android that stood by the counter. The model Android001, six feet tall, with perfectly groomed blonde hair, and amannequin smile stared at her with brilliant blue eyes. His ever-present smile made her shiver as she sized up the android and wished, not for the first time, he were a newer model.“Too expensive, Anna,” Mr. Frances, a parched, elderly board member hadreplied on numerous occasions. “We’ll make do with what we have.”
