This is great, the staff are nice and are alwaysable to help. There are loud kids – you shouldmake them stop! Get more play toys.Very annoying to have kids playing videogamesin the library, as very noisy and offputting. Alibrary should be a quiet place for readers!Libraries have changed over the last few yearsand are now providing more programs andevents, with varying levels of noise.We run a weekly story time in the children’sarea on Thursdays from 11:00am - 11:45am,which can at times add to the noise level. Thisactivity is popular, fun and well attended. Wealso run regular children’s activities duringschool holidays.If you would like to know when it is more likelyto be quiet in the Library, please ask a staffmember. You are welcome to use any of thestudy rooms in the library.Library staff were rude and I do not believeworkers should act like this.We appreciate your feedback and apologise foryour experience on this occasion. We strive toimprove our service and encourage you tocontact the Customer Services Coordinator ifyou would like to discuss your experiencefurther.Found the help desk lady very friendly andhelpful. So an enjoyable experience at thelibrary.The librarians are kind and helpful and theservice is quite efficient, even when the ArtsCentre is packed full of people.I think this library is really good and I enjoycoming.Just wanted to say hiI think Frankston Library has very kind people &great books & computers & programs.Wonderful library – and great staff. I am 87, normally would bring my own anddon’t want to have to buy a bottle, as it is quiteexpensive.Thank you for your feedback. We haveinvestigated a water cooler /fountain and thefound the cost to provide this is extremely large.If you need a glass of water, please don’thesitate to approach the staff who will provideyou with one.New alteration is great, but I do find the chairstoo high, although I have longish legs. Suggestsome chairs have lower legs to cater for all souls.(padded chairs).Thank you for your suggestion.Need to have hand sanitizes near the computersas keyboard keys are very dirty. Just asuggestion rest of service is brilliant,Thank you for your kind words unfortunatelyhand sanitize would go missing if placed nearthe computers however we will endeavor tohave the keyboards cleansed on a more regularbasis.

Why do you put so much pressure on your staffwith the continual beeping produced by membersattempting to borrow books? Soon nowhere willhave staff and you’ll have big OH&S issues.The door alarms alert to items that may nothave been issued correctly for a variety ofreasons. Our staff members are happy toinvestigate why that happens and assist youwith using the self serve kiosks to borrow booksand other library items.What is the libraries position on E Books? Willyou be a subscriber and if so how will weborrow?The library is currently investigating the optionssurrounding E Books. Stay tuned!Currently the library only stocks about half ofBertrice Smalls books. I would like to read moreof her work. Please purchase more titles.Help! I would appreciate if you could buy somemore How I survived middle school by NancyKriuk, they are great for younger readers. You dohave a few but they are not in order. I hope youconsider my thoughts.Thanks for these suggestions. If you would liketo make a request for a specific title and have itreserved for you, please ask the Informationlibrarian at the desk.I would love to be able to borrow the Wii gamesand would also like to see Charli and Lola books,not many to choose from at the moment.Thanks for this feedback. M-15 and MA-15 are forteenagers over 15 you shouldn’t have to be 18years old. I hope you reconsider it.Due to the limitations of the computer systemthat manages the library borrowing we arecurrently unable to isolate these items fromthose restricted to over 18. Thanks for yourfeedback – we will review this to see if there is asolution to this problem.Please restore the function to save onto USBsticks and other devices. The staff member whoI enquired about it could only mouth bureaucraticnonsense about ‘security issues. Please give usa better explanation as it why this vital functionwas taken away without any consultation with thepatrons. Sick of being treated like an idiot.Thank you for your feedback, the ability to saveto USB was over-looked during the recentupgrade of the public computers. It has nowbeen restored and we apologise for anyinconvenience.
