WILDLIFE
/VSPKH`PUNPU[OL^PSKZ¯
NHTL^H[JOYHW[\YL

Existing within a concrete jungle hardly ascertains the fact that

India has the second largest wildlife base in the world. Here in
the environs of the tropical forests of the Ghats, the Deccan
Peninsula, the Gangetic plain, the North Eastern Region and the
evergreen slopes of the Himalayas house an ample variety of
wild animals: tigers, snow leopards, elephants, antelopes, deer,
black bucks, bears, jackals, hyenas, wild buffalos etc.
Come and enjoy the cinematic exhibition during your sojourn in
the wilds. The highlights of these safaris are gripping jeep safaris,
treks, bird watching, wild life movies, photography workshops
and music renting the evening air around a bonfire.
You have our full support to shoot tiger at the well known
Manas, Ranthambore, Bandhavgarh and Kanha national parks,
the one-horned rhinocerous in the Kaziranga reserves or the
nearly extinct white lion at the Sasangir Sanctuary but through
the camera lens alone!

ADVENTURE

For those who want to break free from their otherwise mundane
life routine, we offer a series of adventure holidays: short
weekend stimulation or longer period of adventurous activity.
The Himalayan ranges intimidate and enthrall you into a state
of stunned silence. These majestic mountains have quite a few
spectacular pursuits to offer an adventurer, be it mountaineering,
rock climbing, trekking or river rafting.
Breathe in nature in the raw on a camel safari or in a jungle.
Paragliding exudes an inexplicable sense of thrill for those who
reach out to experience new heights. Gliding down a ski slope,
water rafting down cascading streams pushes the adrenalin levels
of people who dare. Windsurfing, sailing, scuba diving bring in a
sense of fulfillment for water babies.
Holiday camps help you to connect and appreciate the bounty
of nature.
There is always something for everyone - those who dare, the
nature lovers, the scenic seekers and the bold adventurers.

EAST INDIA
:\YWYPZL(M[LY:\YWYPZL
(^HP[Z@V\0U,HZ[0UKPH

The spiraling mists at Darjeeling and Sikkim rise upwards to reveal

the Kanchenjunga in different aspects each new day. In like manner,
one is enthused in a spirit of rediscovering the East. On one hand,
there’s the vivacity in Kolkata - the land of Rabindranath Tagore,
Satyajit Ray and Mother Teresa, presided over by the immense
Victoria Memorial in white marble and on the other hand, there’s
the golden triangle of temple towns: Bhubaneshwar - temple city
of India, Puri – home of Lord Jagannath, and also a popular beach
resort and Konark where you can join the spectacular Rath Yatra
or gaze spell-bound at the stupendous Sun Temple of Konark rising
amidst the sand dunes from the blue waters of the bay. Fall in
love with orchid-bedecked Sikkim - the land that time forgot. See
the Buddhist prayer flags fluttering in the breeze at the Buddhist
Monasteries, such as Pemayangtse - an oasis of serenity and a
repository of centuries-old wisdom and scriptures, surrounded by
mountains and glaciers and passes, where time stands absolutely
still. Sample the cheese in Kalimpong, a quaint bazaar town set in
rolling foothills and deep valleys at the foot of the mighty Himalayas.
Drink in Assam - as famous for its tea, as for its wildlife reserves -
tigers at Manas and the one-horned rhinoceros at Kaziranga. Or
holiday in Shillong, “the Scotland of the East” an ideal holiday resort
through the year. Truly every day in East India is a new discovery.
