, dad took me to some kind of asheep herding dog training center to see if I had any talent for herding sheep.A waste of time and money if you ask me since everyone knows Border Collies are natural sheep herders.

Well it turns out not all Border Collies are born with the instinct. Accordingto Marian, the trainer, this is mainly true of those of us that are mixed breed.I may not have mentioned before but I’m actually part retriever, whichmakes me a bit sturdier than most Border Collies and perhaps accounts for my above average good looks. And it certainly explains why I love water.But it is why Marian is not so confident I will be a great sheep herder.Anyway, dad took me to this ranch just the other side of Milpitas, a placecalled Sunol, fully expecting me to verify my sheep herding skills. However,when dad checked into the registration office with my paperwork it turned
