I WILL WORSHIP GOD IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH
 John 4:21-24
Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. Ye worship ye know not what: we knowwhat we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worshipthe Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh suchto worship him.
God is a Spirit: and they that worshiphim must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Worship entails wholeheartedness and truthfulness. Jesussaid he is the way, truth and life (John 14:6) and thereforetruthful worship must be the way Jesus and his followersworshipped GOD. After the earthly ministry of Jesus, theApostles maintained the way he taught them to worshipGOD and they warned the disciples that false teachers willcome and teach them otherwise. The Apostles themselvesfought and died for the faith. The Apostles kept the Sabbath; celebrated Passover on the14
th
of Nisan, and not Easter; celebrated Pentecost alongsidethe Jewish Pentecost and not on a Sunday; did not celebrateChristmas; and they were zealous for the law. After the death of Apostle John
(the writer of John Gospel, the three Epistles of John and the book of Revelation)
in theearly second century, the Gentile Roman Church:1.Changed Sabbath observance to Sunday worship in theSecond century2.Began the practice of Sunday Easter ceremony andcondemn the observance of Passover by Christiansworldwide
3.
With the support of Emperor Constantine in the 4
th
century, made Sabbath observance, keeping of Passover and anything relating to Jewish God-givenpractices an offence punishable by law. Many devoutfaithful Christians were killed by the State and Church.

Influenced Christianity through its philosophy, paganworship, traditions and practices. The mainstreamchurch revealed itself as the great prostituteprophesied in Revelations 17. She has been intoxicatingthe inhabitants of the earth with the wine of heradulteries (Rev. 17:2). She is Babylon and is drunk withthe blood of the Saints who bear the testimony to Jesus(Rev. 17:6).In Rev. 17, it is foretold that the people intoxicated bythe Church will bring her to ruin and leave her naked(vs. 16). That is already happening as governmentspromoted by the Church are now writing new lawsagainst that influenced by the church. The legalizationof divorce, gay marriage, increasing secularization of state, e.t.c. are examples. In Rev. 18, the faithful are charged to come out of her sothat they will not share in her sins and receive any of herplagues (Rev. 18:4).
What does coming out of her mean?
1.Live by and uphold the word of GOD only and forsakethe traditions of the fallen church.2.Live daily contending for the faith that was oncedelivered to the Saints (Jude 3)3.Return to Sabbath observance in its true spiritual sense4.Shun Sunday Easter celebration and partake inPassover as remembrance of the ultimate sacrifice by Jesus Christ for us5.Stay away from Christmas celebration of December 256.Uphold the Apostles Creed as complete and adequatefor the Christian faith7.Share fellowship with others who are ready to live bythe word of GOD only. This is my personal resolve and I will begin immediately totake steps to live by them.
