How Do I Know What
To Wear?
1.Who are the host(s) that have invited you?
2.What do you think they will be wearing?
3.What do you feel they are expecting you to
look like when you arrive?
4.Your host determine the tone of
appropriate dress.
5.What have written on the invitation as the
“Dress Code”.
Key Principles
1. Create colour and style balance and harmony in
our cloths and accessories.
2. Wear cloths and accessories that emphasize our
best points in our figures and avoid calling
attention to those areas of imperfections.
3. Our cloths and accessories should reflect
our personality and lifestyle, and should
appropriate and current for the occasions.
For Women
1.When wearing “baju kurung” or “baju kebaya” stay
away from frills and large or complicated patterns. A
simple traditional “baju kurung or kebaya” is
appropriate.
2.When wearing a dress make sure there are no frills and
are not sleeveless.
3.Avoid skirt hems that creep too far above the knees-
despite the current trend. If you wear short skirts, stay
away from sheer, skin colour stocking or stocking with
floral prints. Even you wear long skirts, do wear a
knee-long socks with courtshoes.
For Women

4. Avoid things that make visual or metal noise-

dangling earings, clicking bracelets, etc.
5. When wearing a “tudung” or scarf make sure
it blends with your outfit and not to bright or
flowery.
