Report Terminology
Satisfactory: On the day of the inspection the component is in working order and showingnormal wear and tear for its age.
Italicized words: Common maintenance items.
Blue sentences: It is the inspectors opinion that recommended repairs/upgrades willenhance the safety of the home.Orange sentences: Unsafe or Significantly Deficient. The component did not work usingnormal controls or was unsafe at the time of the inspection. The component needs to berepaired prior to the close of escrow.The inspector recommends that all repairs/upgrades be made by a qualified licensedcontractor for safety reasons. Make sure to collect receipts for repair work performed. This inspection company will notguaranty work performed by others. If you have a concern you will want to contact thecompany that performed the repairs.
