The Grand Foundation for Higher Education(GFHE) was created to aid and assist higher educationentities in Grand County UT. The GFHE mission isthree fold:• Promote the value of higher education in a com-munity. To assist students in the pursuit of their careergoals.• Provide tuition assistance for students participatingin higher education in Grand County UT. We supportvocational/technical, associate, bachelor, certificate, mas-ters or doctorate degrees.• Assist in the construction, purchasing, equipping,staffing, and or the support of academic and faculty posi-tions for programs that have been identified as a need inGrand County UT.

Purpose of the Grand Foundation for Higher Education

Vision Target $1,000,000

The goal of the foundation is assist students with tuitionexpenses. We would help students seeking an associate, vo-cational technical, bachelors or advanced degree in GrandCounty.

Associate Degree / VocationalTechnical EducationFreshman and Sophomore Students

• Associate degree seeking student attending full-time (9+credits) may receive a maximum award of $1000 per semesterrenewable for 4 semesters. Total award of $4,000.• Associate degree seeking student attending part-time(6-8 credits) will be eligible to receive an award of $500 persemester renewable for 8 semesters. Total award of $4,000.

Bachelorate Degree Students Junior and Senior Status

• Junior or senior status attending full-time (9+ credits)may receive a maximum award of $1000 per semester renew-able for 4 semesters. Total award of $4,000.• Junior or senior status student attending part-time (6-8credits) will be eligible to receive an award of $500 per se-mester renewable for 8 semesters. Total award of $4,000.
