Begin Differentiation
by Knowing Your Students.
If you want to know how to engage your students and provide the most efficient
and effective instruction, begin with a quick easy assessment of what makes
them tick. You may be familiar with Howard Gardner’s Inventory of Multiple
Intelligences. Gardner’s model gives you an indication of student preferred
learning styles. Here is one among many online resources that you can use with
students to gain insight into how your students learn best.

I also like the Sternberg model of the Triarchic Mind. I believe it is especially
suited to math instruction and is easy to apply in order to engage all students.
Here are a couple of resources to help you understand and apply this model.
