Abstract
Graphene is a form of carbon just like other carbon materials. Technically speaking graphene is anisolated atomic plane of graphite where the thickness is just one atom. It is one of the most promisingand versatile material ever discovered. It has got exceptional properties which can bring revolutionarychanges in the world of physics. It is the thinnest and strongest material and an excellent conductor ofelectricity. There are many potential applications of graphene. In the future it will replace silicon andwill be main component in electronic devices. The paper describes various methods of makingGraphene, its properties and applications
