Prayer Bulletin = _No.13b IOOKING BACK AND LOOKING FORWARD. At the end of the year a wise business man takes stock! We are in ‘the King's Business, let's do that now. As we view the past twelve months ~ have we made spiritual prog ress? Are we satisfied with our Christian showing over the year? Tf not - why? Any failure on our part has certainly not been thra any fault of God or of the marvellous salvation He has provided. For in Jeaus He has made emple provision for our every need. "Por in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily, and ye are complete in Him" or as the Living Bible pute it, "For in Ghriet there 1s all of GOD in a human body, eo you have every— ‘thing when you have Carist, and you are filled with God through your union with Christ". (Gol 2.9-10). ‘The Pather has put all His fulnese into Jesus and it is our privilege to take all we need from Him ~ to take our completeness! The problem is HOW 70 APPROPRIATE THIS COMPLETENESS. ‘The secret is - when tempted, turn to Christ and take the opposite grace. Por exemple, if, tempted by impurity TAKE CHRIST'S PURITY! Tf tempted to be irritable - TAKB CHRIST'S SWEET NATURE, and so on. Bat, you esk, how do you do thie? Well, when you pray - TAKE! You’ take what you need! Then believe that at that moment you have received in Jesus all the supply taat you have been waiting for. You haven't strength, tut there is plenty in the Lion of Judah! So take! You haven't aweetnese, but He has all loveliness - TAKS! You haven't meelmess, tut He is the Lamb of God that was slain — TAKE! Are you sick, or suffering sone disability - In Him is Divine Health - Life - so TAKS! ANYTHING you need, you can get from Him - for "all fulness dwelleth in Him!" Hallelujah! Don't Zear temptation; don't fear that you will fail. Instead, know that the moment your poor trembling heart lays itself at the feet of your precious Saviour, and your hand stretches out to touch the hom of His garment ~ at that moment - virtue streams into your whole being to make you strong in the power of His might! ‘hen - you and Christ together, can meet the worldl!! This is e glorious way of living! ry it - and I am sure you will HAVE A MARVELLOUS, GLORIOUS’, VICTORIOUS NEW YEAR!
