COACHES
Sacramento coach Dennis Green was a head coach in the NFL for 13 seasons (Minnesota and Arizona) and this
is his second year as a UFL head coach. He led the California Redwoods to a 2-4 record last year and he has the
Mountain Lions in contention for the title game this season. The Redwoods moved from the Bay Area to
Sacramento in 2010. The Nighthawks are coached by Jeff Jagodzinski. He coached Boston College to a 20-8
record from 2007-08 and has coached football at the college or pro level for 26 years.

PREVIOUSLY: Played with the Arizona Rattlers in 2010 (Arena Football League) and caught 193 balls for 2,372
and 47 touchdowns while earning Rookie of the Year award. Spent 2009 with the Rio Grande Valley Dorados, of
the now-defunct areanfootball2 league, and earned that circuits Offensive Player of the Year and Rookie of the
Year awards (184 receptions, 2,364 yards, 59 touchdowns). Caught 81 passes for 1,118 yards and six
touchdowns as a senior at Western New Mexico State after serving as the team’s quarterback as a junior (led
team in passing yards and rushing yards as a junior).

PREVIOUSLY: Biddle led the UFL with 453 receiving yards while playing for the Florida Tuskers in 2009. He also
set a UFL single-game record with 133 receiving yards against the California Redwoods in 2009. Biddle was with
the Minnesota Vikings in training camp this season and played in two games with the Carolina Panthers in 2006
(three catches, 37 yards).

PREVIOUSLY: Amey, who had a record-breaking career at Sacramento State, entered the NFL as an undrafted
free agent with the San Francisco 49ers in 2005. He played in 11 regular season games that season and scored a
touchdown the first time he ever touched the ball (75-yard punt return). Also played in preseason games for the
Atlanta Falcons in 2007. Was an Arena Football League star from 2007-08, combining for 201 receptions for
2,549 yards and 66 touchdowns. Played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League in
2009.

PREVIOUSLY: Maze played for the New York Sentinels of the UFL in 2009 and he also was drafted by the
Omaha Nighthawks in the 2010 expansion draft. In the first-ever UFL game, Maze collected 15 tackles, five
breakups and one interception. Originally entered the NFL with the Baltimore Ravens in 2007 but was released
prior to the regular season. He has also spent time in the Arena Football League and the Italian Football League.

PREVIOUSLY: Washington played for the California Redwoods in 2009, rushing for 75 yards and a touchdown on
25 carries. Entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2006 and spent 2006 and 2007 on the St. Louis Rams
practice squad. Played in NFL Europe in 2007. Son of Academy Award-winning actor Denzel Washington and
appeared as a student in the movie ‘Malcolm X’, which starred his father in the title role.

His college career ended with a broken right ankle during his senior season. He was one of only two senior
starters on defense at Oregon State.

PREVIOUSLY: McCauley is a local product from Sacramento, a graduate of Cordova High School. He joined the
NFL in 2007, playing in all 16 games for the Minnesota Vikings and starting in nine of them. He played in 10
games for the Vikings in 2008 before spending time with four NFL organizations in 2009 (Detroit Lions, Tampa
Bay Bucs, New Orleans Saints and the Washington Redskins).

season. Originally entered the NFL as a seventh round (250th overall) draft choice of the Baltimore Ravens in
2003 and he was waived prior to the regular season. Has also spent time in the NFL organizations of the
Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns and the Atlanta Falcons. Has also played in NFL Europe and the Arena
Football League.

PREVIOUSLY: Woods was the smallest player on the team during his time at Portland State in 2008 and 2009
but was one of the school’s most productive performers. Had an outstanding junior year as a slot receiver and
kick returner in 2008. Caught a team-leading 66 passes for 1,028 yards and six touchdowns. Set school records
for kick returns (35) and kick return yards (908) in a season. Ranked fifth in school history with 1,968 all-purpose
yards.
