Recently as I walked past the outdoor dining area of a local restaurant, I noticed two Twenty-Somethings, eyes staring intently at the screens of their Smart Phones, slowly pecking at their on-screen keyboards. Were they, perchance, silently communing via text message or, even sadder, were they communing with two separate absences? Will Homo Sapien 2.0 have no vocal capacity, but very large thumbs

More the social networking/media sites the more we are going farther to each other. We are losing human interaction. It's sad. A very nice and impacting poem, Bill!

Is “Antisocial” the new “Social”? How else can we explain Facebook and its suggestion that sitting in a darkened room, alone in front of a computer monitor, is a social activity.
