SW Land Associates, LLC ("Applicant") is the equitable owner of the twoproperties known as 130 Cricket Avenue and 24½ School Lane in Ardmore. Theseadjoining parcels are both zoned R-6A Residence. This matter involves the Applicant'sproposal to subdivide a 5000 square-foot portion of the School Lane lot, consolidate thatwith the Cricket Avenue lot, and then build a subsidized apartment house on thecombined site.
The Board held hearings on this matter on four days: June 28, August 8, August30 and September 6, 2007. Although the application was amended several times duringthe course of those hearings, the Applicant ultimately withdrew all of its variancerequests and asked the Board to grant two special exceptions: (1) to allow the subsidizedapartment house under the provisions of Section 50.2 of the Township Zoning Ordinance,and (2) to allow a portion of the planned parking garage to be located under the requiredside yard under Section 94 B of the Ordinance.
Unless the context requires otherwise, the Board will refer to the combined site as the "Property."
