The voters have spoken. Among the list of the 10 most influential RWJF-fundedresearch articles of 2008
as determined by more than 1,400 ballots cast
halfare from scholars or investigators in the Human Capital Portfolio. The list, the
, is compiled annually by David C. Colby, Ph.D., vicepresident for research and evaluation. This year, voting was opened for the firsttime to RWJF Web site visitors, Twitter users and e-mail subscribers, who chosethe 10 articles from a list of 25 nominees.The winning studies they cited address a range of pressing health concerns facingAmericans, their health care providers and developers of health policy.
