How to create nonlinear deceleration using the easing curve:
1. Create a position tween:
Right click on frame "40" and select "Insert Keyframe".
In the align panel press the "Align right edge" button. Right click anywhere between frames "1" and "40" and choose "Create Motion Tween".
2. Edit the easing curve:
Then in the properties panel click on the "Edit" button.
In the "Custom Ease In/ Ease Out" window: o Left click on the line to create a new anchor point o Hover over the point then press and hold the left mouse button to drag the point and reshape the curve. o Release the mouse button the reposition the anchor point. o Left click on the end point then hover over the circle at the end of the bezier handle o Press and hold down the left mouse button to drag the handle and adjust the curvature of the line. o Press the "OK" button.
3. Preview the animation:
Then in the timeline drag the play head to frame "1".
