It 1s contact with GOD! a plunge into the River of Life! e stepping into the Divine Flane! A regular, daily appointment with Goi in the Sanctuary of Prayer means epiritua) renewal - soul refreshing, and how needful that ie to the Christian for bis survival in this godless, death-stricken, hell-bent world! God hates staleness. He is a God’ of renewal. "Behold, I make all things new"(Rev 21.5). He says, "If any man be in Obrist he is a jew creature" (2 Cor 5.17). "we also should walk in newness of life" Gion 6-4). We should serve in nemess of opirit"(zon 7.0). "Put on the new man"(Hph 4.24). "They shall speak with new tongues" "They that wait upon the Lord shell renew their strength" (Is.40.31) Oh, What a privilege and joy it is to wait upon God! David seid "r' shall be anointed with fresh oi1" Ps 92.10). Job testified, * abilities were constantly refreshed and renewed" (Job 29.20 L.B.) Jeremiah affirmed, "His compasolons fail not, they are new every morning" (am 3.23-23) fis we energe from His lovely presence to face a new day,0h shout with the Psalmist ~ Praise ye the Lord! Sing unto the Lord A NEW SONG" Pe 149.1) Hallelujeh! Whet a yonderful Heavenly Pather we have! ‘HE MORNING WanGH. The purpose of this time alone with God is that I may unite my life to Him; that I might abide in Him today and He in me (John 15). 1 watt to receive His life and strength, so that I will be able to live for Him every hour. Christ is ny life! Just as a battery necds recharging with electrical power, so I am dependent upon my Lord to quicken me with His life (my new life) very moment that I spend before Him, I am being "recharged", "refilled", revitalised ty the Holy Spirit. I must take time to present myself reverently to God, and prey that the Holy Spirit may remove all that is contrary to His will ~ self- ishnees, uncleaness, thoughts or actions that would grieve Fin, and anything else that would hinder Him in Hie great work in my life. I pray that He may produce the Fruit of the Spirit, and develop ay character into Christlike beauty. I pray that Kis Spirit may prepare me for deeper experiences with God. ‘THIS WSEK'S PRAYER SUBJECT - Perishing souls! 1. Pray for our Missionaries, each by namo 2. Pray for the unsaved in our land. 3, Bray for Obristendom and a backslidden Church. It is estimated that there are 500,000,000 nominal Christians in ‘the world. The spiritual state of the majority is deplorable ~ "having a’ form of godliness but denying the power thereof" ~ devoid of a spark of divine life, destivute of reality! with formality, worldliness, ungodliness, ‘rejection of Christ as Lord of the Life, with Agnoranee and indifferance! Many ere worse than the outright heathen in the spiritual darmess that surrounds them. AND THESE CONDITIONS EXIST WITH MANY IN OUR OWN LAND! Many Ministers are strengers to the saving and cleansing power and grace of God. What a need for a mighty, Seaven-sent, Holy Ghost Sevival!! PRAY,100, for the young people of our land. ‘The rising generation is largely groving up utterly Godless! Our present-day society is tending to lead then into sin and depravity. Ob, God, lead thy people from their indifference - to agonising intercession and flaming evangelisn! For Jesus’ sake! BRBTEREN - Preyer is co important! Tho selvation of precious souls depends upon it; 80 does the progress of our Church - and our own salvation's welfare. We MUST de faithful in our private prayer life; We MUST make every effort to regularly attend our Church Prayer Meetings (and every necting), thus joining heart and voice with others in seeking the face of God for His divine manifestation!
