COMMITTEE MANDATE
Concern for structural design methods for naval ships including uncertainties in modelingtechniques. Consideration shall be given to applicability of classification society rules todesign of naval ships. Particular attention shall be given to those aspects that differentiatenaval ship design from merchant ship design such as blast loading, vulnerability analysisand others, as appropriate.
