This recipe has been handed down through the years...we make it every Christmasmorning. This can also be prepared ahead and rerigerated overnight, then baked in themorning. The peppers will rise to the top, adding a dash o Christmas color.
Sausage Breakast Pie

1 lb. ground pork breakast sausage,browned and drained9-inch pie crust4 eggs, beaten1 c. hal-and-hal1-1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese1/4 c. green pepper, diced1/4 c. red pepper, diced2 T. onion, chopped
Place browned sausage into unbaked pie crust; set aside. Whisk together remainingingredients and pour over sausage. Bake at 375 degrees or 40 to 45 minutes.Serves 6.

Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low setting or2 to 2-1/2 hours. Stir well to blend beore serving. Makes 10 servings.
2 c. whipping cream6 c. milk1 t. vanilla extract1 to 1-1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolatechips
