This recipe has been handed down through the years...we make it every Christmasmorning. This can also be prepared ahead and rerigerated overnight, then baked in themorning. The peppers will rise to the top, adding a dash o Christmas color.
Sausage Breakast Pie

1 lb. ground pork breakast sausage,browned and drained9-inch pie crust4 eggs, beaten1 c. hal-and-hal1-1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese1/4 c. green pepper, diced1/4 c. red pepper, diced2 T. onion, chopped
Place browned sausage into unbaked pie crust; set aside. Whisk together remainingingredients and pour over sausage. Bake at 375 degrees or 40 to 45 minutes.Serves 6.
