The Middle-ast is like a devil's cauldron; Africa is threatened with a blood-bath; Bast-asian countricsare apprehensive Since the fall of Gaubodia; the super-powemare ready with enough muclear explosives to destroy the earth a dozen times over; politic al, economic, and racial turmoil is widespread, crime and violence are beconing’a way of life; morelly, mmmanity ie "on the skids”. Many feel that the world is heated tor an unprecedentad catastrophe! Actually, if it were not for God, the position would be hopeless! But, oh precious truth, the Lore God omnipotent relgneth! He hasn't Jost control, although it might look like it. Oh, NOI Ee is about to step back into His World and take it over! Man'is making ouch a mess of it, the Lord Himself ie coming to reign! Friends, we are drawing near the end of the age. God is coming to judge a'einful world in righteousness. But PIEST, He is coming to take His people (all Ghristians) evey to be with iim (1 Thess 4.15-18) See also John 14.1-3. Yes, Jesus is coming! Waat shall Wi do? It’behoves every one to be right with God! That 40 ‘the first thing. Then get busy witnessing, warning, and winning souls for Christ! But Zor this we need power ~ power to live right, power to witness, and pover to"pluck brands out of the fire"(zech 3.2 and Jude 22-25}. Power trom God only cones as we pray, as we are filled with the Holy Spirit. The Church needs revival! We need revival! Rovivel is a must! an imperative! It must be PRAYED DOW! - PREACHED OUD — "and POWSRED IN! Let's get to it! Shall we see you on Tuesday night (GPM) at the Revival Prayer Meeting? (and if possible cone to the Day of Prayer on Thursday LOAM to 3.30PM) «+-e+s ‘Tae MORNING “Wik Revival starts within our own hearts! It begins as ve face our own spiritual condition! (2 Chron 7.14). "Let a man exanine himself" (2 Cor.11.28). Well, let's begin - Are we thenkful to God for all His goodness to us and are we expressing it continually to Hin? (Heb 13.15) How ie our prayer-life? The reality of our love to Jesus can be tested by the length of time we give to Him in communion, We delight to be 4n the company of those we love. Are our hearts pure ~ and our thoughts Clean? Does God cone first in our decisions? or is it "self". are our priorities right? Is the Lord's Day sacred to ue? Is the Prayer Meeting night important? Do we hunger and thirst after God? Do lost souls mean anything to us - really? How long is it since we Jooked into the faces of our neighbors, vork-mates, loved ones (maybe our own children) and felt a pang of agony as we realised that they were lost ~ 10ST ~ DOOMSD ~ DAMVED, and unless brought to Jesus, would spend an endless eternity in hell? Do we cry to God for then? Do ve sacrifice a little sleep and weep - sometimes? How long is it Since we spoke to someone about their soul, or gave then a tract? dive we honest with God and tithing according to His Word? (Mal 3,8-11) Do we harbour resentments or ill-will against anyone? Do we do our part in making our homes like a little bit of paradise? Are we a blessing to others? Is our influence an uplifting one? Are we longing for the coming of Jesus - and ready if He should come today? I wonder if any of us could register an affimative to all the forego- ing? But Jesus is willing to help us. He knows where we fail, and gate to impart HIS OWN DISPOST?ION 70 US (Rom 13.14) ‘© wante us to honestly face up to our spiritual condition, and make a full surrender of our lives to Him, walking with Him daily, and drawing on His mighty power! "I am walking every day with Jesus, My burden and my cross He shares, Weth His counsel guards and guides me onward, and shields me from ‘the tempter's enare.
